Many years ago I stayed at a friend's magnificent Californian home - it overlooked the Pacific in about the most swankiest town in Southern California. Despite its size it had very little garden and the pool and balconies were at the front on the coast road. Everyone looked up at it - whether they were locals or passers-by I don't know.

The guy who brought the hire car was almost salivating!

As others have said, if I had that sort of money I'd buy a bit more privacy.

This thread has just made me Google properties on Sandbanks and other amazing affluent areas! Some of the houses are gorgeous 😍

So he clearly enjoyed it !
Kids had a fab time and really inspiring for them, they are older with grown up children so loved having young children around
And gave them so much attention.
