When they see you on the balcony and when they see you drive in and out the gates

Wish I was a multi millionaire too !!

sorry, but that don't impress me much.

WhatCFeryIsThis · 08/08/2020 16:36

You do realise that the area that house is in is already affluent, right? They’re staring at you because you so obviously don’t fit in. Not because they’re coveting your lifestyle. They already have ‘the lifestyle’

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 08/08/2020 16:36

Apart from me staring at a non-posh balcony, I also went for a walk on Wimbledon Common where I stared in an unabashed fashion at the uber-expensive houses. And when the electric gates opened, I positively gawped. Doesn’t everyone?

neonjumper · 08/08/2020 16:37

@Lardlizard

It’s because it’s at a seaside destination and loads of people trying to park everywhere l, that’s why it’s not secluded, because it has amazing views

I’m so jealous ! 🤣but I’m going to enjoy this 🍾🍹😎☀️

How's Harry and Sandra holding up? Could you pass my number onto Jamie?
whereorwhere · 08/08/2020 16:41

Sounds fabulous OP enjoy

LillianBland · 08/08/2020 16:43

They’re probably wondering why the staff are sitting on the balcony, OP. They can smell the poverty off you.

LillianBland · 08/08/2020 16:44

You should pick the nicest looking carpet in the house and have it away to your home.

monkeymonkey2010 · 08/08/2020 16:44

i'd enjoy it too OP Grin

it's quite an experience isn't it?
Experiencing/feeling how the 'other half' live? Smile

''Multi million pound house'' = A shoebox in West London.

gogorogo · 08/08/2020 16:57

When I walk down expensive roads I often like looking at the houses.

A friend has a Ferrari, I've had a few lifts. It certainly does feel like people stare at that, not great when I'm clumsily climbing in & out!

ZigZagPlant · 08/08/2020 16:58

Enjoy the weekend and the experience OP.

Teddy1970 · 08/08/2020 16:59

Crinkle77 that has to be Canford Cliffs or West Wittering? The latter isn't far from me at all, we were in Itchenor yesterday and the houses there are stunning, and I stare because I love big houses, not because I wonder who's in them, having said that, Kate Winslet lives in West Wittering.

AriettyHomily · 08/08/2020 16:59

Sandbanks?

gogorogo · 08/08/2020 17:01

So, knowing there are people who are on furlough, or on the list for redundancy and knowing that there are millions of people who have lost loved ones to coronavirus and haven't been able to mourn them properly or that there are people who are anxious that their children may not be at school in Sept, still doesn't matter to you and you feel the need to post a pointless thread that nobody actually cares about.

Seriously...

WendyHoused · 08/08/2020 17:03

Have a bloody marvellous time!

jessstan2 · 08/08/2020 17:05

@romeolovedjulliet

sorry, but that don't impress me much.
'don't' ?
TableFlowerss · 08/08/2020 17:06

@sqirrelfriends

I once opened the door to a man flogging fish. He asked for my parents, I said "they dont live here". Then he asked for "lady of the house" (seriously), I said "that's me". I had terrible hormonal spots at the time, hair on top of my head and an old hoodie on. I think he thought I was either a grumpy teenager, or the cleaner. I was 24 or 25 at the time.

Bog standard house, albeit a largish family one. I guess I just didn't fit his perception of who he thought would live here.

That exact same thing happened to me, only I was 35!!!

Asking to speak to me mam... ‘Mate, I am the Mam’

😂😂

Ah, OK, you are at Sandbanks.

Get your binoculars out and spot the Nudists across the water on Studland Grin

GabsAlot · 08/08/2020 17:20

so its a posh place where anyone can park on the road

bit annoying that-id want a private road for sure

wonder if harry has the same problem

Staffy1 · 08/08/2020 17:23

What you haven't told us is that you have two heads, bat wings and scaled feet...hence the staring.

MzHz · 08/08/2020 17:25

Enjoy the stay op!

I know what you mean, when I lived abroad my best friends were mega rich and whenever we’d go off for the weekend in their German limo (subject to 500% import tax in that country at the time) people would crane necks to see if there was someone famous in the car, it was very odd I remember
