Much as I love dds and dh, I need some time on my own. The only time I’ve the house to myself since January for half an hour, I got collared by the neighbour out whinging about my plants self seeding. I’m still unreasonably pissed off about that!

I have just got a milkman! So with online weekly shop no more going to local shops with the mask at all!

We have a milkman. The DDs drink an unreasonable amount of milk so it saves going to the shops every 5 minutes to top up.

We also drink a ridiculous amount of milk. I bought 20 pints for this week today plus another 12 for my parents. That's what we'd use for the week as I won't be entering a shop again now until next monday. The supermarket was traumatizing. No queue or people limit at all. Everyone in masks but no social distancing going on. I didn't like it. However, if the poor quality masks cause a spike maybe they'll abolish them and I can return to spending money I don't have in real shops rather than via my phone.

Sadly I think if shitty masks cause a spike all we’ll hear is ‘imagine how much worse it would be if we weren’t wearing masks’ 🙄

If the milk turns sour there are those that would blame covid.

My DSs drink ridiculous amounts of milk too and no signs of stopping even as teens. I guess it is good (calcium) but it can get a bit much.

The tin hatter in me thinks they're going for herd immunity via the back door. Masks that do fuck all, get people into the pubs, spread it around a bit over the summer to get the population immunity up before autumn.

Ugh. I am RELUCTANTLY going to have to buy a bloody reusable mask. Have been using some from work but hate single use stuff (unless in clinical environment obv) and the thought of it sitting stuffed in my bag/pocket getting grottier day by day is making me feel grim. Plus my face is sensitive enough to bloody acne that wearing something that I've sent my sweaty breath into
