If it was just for show they have failed miserably.

It was all the rage in the 90s but even in the 90s people would have made a bigger statement of the kitchen.

I presume it is a single guy who lives there.

I’m guessing they don’t cook much

or have people over for dinner . There's one vaguely comfortable looking chair and two benches that look like Gymnasium Horses .
Rounded top , leather , shiney - you'd have to sit astride and twist yourself round or risk slipping off the bloody things .

Actually, now you mention it, was there a dining table? I see the kitchen is the one there from the last time it was sold.

That house is amazing. Those ostrich feather lights are so OTT that I didn’t even notice the massive alligator in the corner the first time I looked!

I think the old adage when decorating a house “less is more” should have been in mind

Even the gymnasium looks unusable because of how much is in there. How would you move about between the equipment.
I would have thought they would have gone for at least a Dyson fan in there rather than a bog standard one.
