You know how they say "styling" is the key to a successful sale? I think they'd have done better to "de-style" that one beforehand!

Bloody awful. I do wonder though if those stuffed animals are from some private collection that the owner has now "acquired".

Wollaton Hall in Notts has a few historical taxidermy pieces as part of the museum inside - but, while horrible, it's like the Natural History Museum in that respect. This house is just foul.

After a little snoop the owner is connected with the film industry, not famous though.

After a slightly bigger snoop I don’t think the film connection is significant. There are several very anonymously named property companies in the list.

So a zebra died to make that rocking horse?

Painting in 4 - is that a machine gun? When ds was little one of his pals lived in a rented house and the paintings in the wall were not exactly child friendly - guns and people fleeing. Quite violent and horrible to look at. I’m amazed their kids didn’t have nightmares.

Close to oxford st bliss? No it’s not bliss it’s a bloody nightmare (especially on late night shopping days). We lived next to there for a while and it was managing location but always very busy and noisy. Parking is on the street (I don’t thing they have any garages there).

I think I can't count 18 dead animals, not including the ostrich feathers and possible zebra skin rugs. That's really grim and would put my right off buying it, irrespective of the awful taste otherwise.

Serenity that house has a photo of a parking area , I'd guess you have an allocated parking spot .

And each to their own - I'd love to live there and have no travel worries .

Those huge rural isolated houses leave me cold - I wouldn't want to be responsible to maintain , or be out in the garden a mile from the house wondering who was at the front door !
I lived my teen years in a quiet , country villagey type town, never again.
