I can hear nothing but sirens from my flat.

Have read that it appears to be a terrorist attack, but not confirmed. At least 3 dead. Glasgow city centre. Just awful

Stealth That the officers injuries are serious. I’m praying the officer is not badly hurt (as we all are, I don’t doubt).

@nicknacky it's frightening that this is the third time it's happened in 2 weeks.
I have family members in police Scotland and I do worry about them. Most people I'm sure are so grateful for the work for do!

Heartbreaking and frightening, less than a week after three people were stabbed dead in Reading.

Our world feels like a very scary place right now and getting scarier by the day.

I have just read on Twitter that the perpetrator is a far right individual who has attacked asylum seekers at the hotel. But it's Twitter, so who knows really.

I was the same after the attack at the Arndale in Manchester. My husband was in the offices above and was basically on lockdown for hours. I hugged him so hard when he got home.

I’m just outside the city centre and have a friend whose area is GCC so of course panicking now I’ve not heard back from him. Hoping he’s just too busy or asleep.

Glasgow police have had a shit ton of serious incidents in the last 10 years I’m grateful to them all

Normally as its the first Friday of the school holidays my dds and I would be there meeting Dh for lunch and then when he finished work. His office is is in most of the shots on BBC.

This is the third Police Scotland officer stabbed in less than two weeks.

I’m a police officer in Police Scotland and frankly in feeling sick to my stomach about the anti police sentiment there has been lately and yet we run towards incidents and risk our lives on the line to help the poor souls like today who have sadly died as a result of terrible violence.

My thoughts to all that have died and have been hurt, and to my colleague. I’m hearing rumours on the police private fb pages and I pray they are inaccurate.
