Shit! Is there anything I can do? Screwed up Tesco delivery.

My fault...I accidentally sent my (£200) Tesco delivery to our old address.

It’s registering as “delivered”. My son has run around there to see if they’ve taken it all in.

If they have and choose to keep it, what if anything can I do? Tesco customer service is closed at this time of night.

Can’t believe this has happened. We have very little money for more food 😥 I am such a fucking idiot.

I think she went to get her shopping and the home owners have said she could have it back but she could only take one item at a time. So for the past two days she's been too busy making 80 trips between the two homes to retrieve her items, her feet are badly blistered from all the walking.

TimeWastingButFun · 03/06/2020 09:34

Ffs. Scrolled through that lot and I still don't know whether she got her shopping. Won't get that time back!

Lordfrontpaw · 03/06/2020 09:46

@Louise91417

I think shes went round to claim back her shopping, got a bit out of hand, has got herself arrested, is in the holding cells waiting release and court dateShock
That’s a good un!
@FabbyChix "Typical posting a threat then not updating that’s seriously rude"

Wtf.

No, it's not. It's a thread on a public forum, not a soap opera, and OP can do as she likes with her own thread.

If you want guaranteed dramatic updates and entertainment you need to watch TV.
No it is rude, sure op doesn't have to update, there is no law, but common courtesy would be to update

Maybe it was one of those scam / begging threads, but we don't know

Okay @Hanamuslim Grin

The stress of the shopping going to the wrong house acted like a stress test, causing OP to mutate (like Deadpool). She hulked out and used her new found strength to charge straight to the old house to get what's rightfully hers.

On her way, however, she spotted two cats fighting. She used her powers for good and rescued the victim cat from the attacker, then she flew away.

She decided that she should focus on righting all the injustices in the world, and right now she's in the ocean picking up every single last piece of microplastic.

So really, we're being very inconsiderate badgering her to come back, because she has much bigger things to focus on and we need to let her be the hero this world needs, even if we don't deserve her.

Soubriquet · 03/06/2020 11:16

No you’re all wrong.

The people who accepted the shopping were actually cannibals and use to it bait people to come to the house

She’s been eaten

SuckingDownDarjeeling · 03/06/2020 11:21

@Soubriquet Sad probably because Hannibal Lecter wouldn't have appreciated such a cheap food shop. His steaks would normally cost £200 alone. He must have eaten her out of anger at the cheap food.

I hear Tescos Chianti goes down well with human liver and some fava beans

And...

... made me really laugh! 😂

Can’t believe this thread is still here! Grin

Londoner99 · 03/06/2020 14:11

Looks like she won't be back then. I hate it when there's no closure!

Rebelwithallthecause · 03/06/2020 14:15

I imagine it ended up being a non event and the shop was returned to store

Quite possibly op highly embarrassed herself by turning up on the doorstep of the old house so probably has felt sheepish and will return only once a name change has taken place

Riv12345 · 03/06/2020 16:22

Fake post

Lordfrontpaw · 03/06/2020 16:32

look - we are mostly in lockdown. We've eaten all the chocolate, drunk all the leftover booze from Christmas and seen all the box sets.

This is all the entertainment we have left!

Under this username. People name change all the time.
ButtonMoonLoon · 03/06/2020 19:03

There are a few headline grabbing posts where the OP hasn’t come back lately. This one, the one about the adult stepdaughter not giving up her bedroom, the husband lending his sister £15k of money without telling his wife......

butterpuffed · 04/06/2020 08:11

It was a lovely surprise to find all these goodies on my doorstep . Right address but wrong name. I'm Mrs B Puffed not Ms P Meringue.

We've not been out since lockdown so after two months of not eating we polished the food off in two hours , I especially liked the steaks and had them with a side of cookie dough ice cream. Delicious.

Thank you Tesco , every little helps.

elscar · 04/06/2020 08:31

Come on OP! Let us know what happened!!

Footywife · 04/06/2020 08:59

@butterpuffed. Hahahaha. Brilliant! 😂

Mightymurphy · 04/06/2020 20:23

For god sake. There should be some sort of law for not giving us an update.
