Shit! Is there anything I can do? Screwed up Tesco delivery.

My fault...I accidentally sent my (£200) Tesco delivery to our old address.

It’s registering as “delivered”. My son has run around there to see if they’ve taken it all in.

If they have and choose to keep it, what if anything can I do? Tesco customer service is closed at this time of night.

Can’t believe this has happened. We have very little money for more food 😥 I am such a fucking idiot.

They do deliver at 11pm.

handbagsatdawn33 · 02/06/2020 19:29

Is it relevant that this appears to be the OP's first post?

curtainsforme · 02/06/2020 19:31

*Does Tesco deliver at 11pm?
*I mean really?

Yes, they do. Really.

sqirrelfriends · 02/06/2020 20:03

OP, where are you?

SuckingDownDarjeeling · 02/06/2020 20:08

I think she walked to Tesco head office. They might have given her the shopping there so it might take her a while to get back carrying it.

Starcup · 02/06/2020 20:57

Christ sake, I’ve just scrawled through 16 pages just to see if OP got her shopping. I wanted to know if she got the shopping😂

Starcup · 02/06/2020 20:58

And she’s not been back on! Raging 😤 Grin

heartsonacake · 02/06/2020 21:08

Yeah OP won’t be back 😂

Kitcat47 · 02/06/2020 21:09

I keep coming back to see if she got her shopping!!Shock

Starcup · 02/06/2020 21:35

@heartsonacake

Do you know something I don’t know? I’ve not bothered reading all posts

Yerroblemom1923 · 03/06/2020 07:28

Still no update! And I really wanted to know the outcome too!

Thighmageddon · 03/06/2020 08:42

Op this is the second morning waking up to no update.

I'm appalled at your lack of thought to all of us so invested in your tale.

Rathersexyfortysomethingblonde · 03/06/2020 08:47

Update?

Perisoire · 03/06/2020 08:50

If an OP doesn’t return within 24 hours then it’s very likely she has been kidnapped.

Lordfrontpaw · 03/06/2020 08:51

Was this true?
If so, order a few tons of horse manure to be delivered to them (front drive please).

SeriouslySoDoneIn · 03/06/2020 08:52

Waiting to see if shopping has been returned

SeriouslySoDoneIn · 03/06/2020 08:52

.

VeganCow · 03/06/2020 08:55

@PinkMeringue I hope you got an answer?

dochas06 · 03/06/2020 09:07

All that reading and I still don’t know what happened to their shopping!

Hanamuslim · 03/06/2020 09:12

I've got the answer. Don't worry guys!

So, she went storming round in her pink fluffy dressing gown, armed with a baseball bat and can of coke. Hammered the door like can't pay take it away. Some chap opened the door. Op said right, see you, yeah I know you still me washing up liquid and sanitary pads. Chap replied yes, tesco delivered them and I was in need of cleaning cloths and washing up liquid. Sanitary pads were the next best thing. Next thing, op slams and sprays the coke up the windows in a fit of rage. The baseball is used against the poor defenceless garden bushes. Chap shuffles backwards into his kitchen with his hands up likes he's been met with a mad policeman. But tells op to calm down, he still has her shopping still in their carrier bags. Meat might whiff a bit and the milks gone bad. But hey presto, you didn't lose your £200! Op takes the bags, loads them onto her rag and bone carriage. Heaves them home whilst downing the coke on the way! Son comse out to meet her, they take the shopping in and pack it all before calling tesco and giving them a mouthful of abuse.

Hanamuslim · 03/06/2020 09:13

OK, who can do better!!! Hahahaha

Hanamuslim · 03/06/2020 09:13

Since op might not come back, let's come up with our own ridiculous endings to this matter!

Louise91417 · 03/06/2020 09:21

I think shes went round to claim back her shopping, got a bit out of hand, has got herself arrested, is in the holding cells waiting release and court dateShock

Russell19 · 03/06/2020 09:25

I think she went round at 8am to find all the empty food wrappers strewn across their front garden with a note saying 'thanks for the food'. She had a break down because her favourite pop tarts had been eaten and is still on the hunt for another delivery slot so can't get off tesco website.

ScarfLadysBag · 03/06/2020 09:27

I think she went round and when they found her on the doorstep they assumed she was for them so just took her inside and put her in the cupboard.
