I suspect, had I been a boy, I would have been Albert after my dad. Ghastly name! DM wanted to call me Morag, which I detest, but DF wore her down and I am called after DM - which has issues all of its own, as what I am called is not my own, personal, name, as it was drummed into me that I am called after DM. I loved DM hugely, but I don't have my own name. My middle name was chosen for the aunt who died just a few days before my birth, and so it isn't my own name either.

Neither of my kids are called after anybody they or I know!

Emma, but my surname begins with a vowel so my mum didn't want me going through life called "Emmur Edwards".
