Properly violet or green eyes?

Other than fictitious characters do you know anyone, or do you have, these coloured eyes? I mean like really intense green or vivid purple? I’ve never seen anyone with any but would love to! Would love to have them myself too rather than my own sludgy brown, supremely inefficient ones!

Eyes fascinate me. At a house party, the host popped his head round the corner and I noticed he had bright green eyes. He’s my DH now.

Picture is me. People have told me I have green eyes, I think they’re more blue. If I wear a particular sparkly brown eyeshadow, people think I’m wearing bright blue lenses.

My brother has bright green eyes. He's really striking to look at (without sounding creepy).

My friend has proper green eyes. Not bright but a kind of grey-green, but definitely green. She’s half Burmese.

Never seen anyone with even slightly violet eyes in my life. Didn’t know it was even a thing.

I have green eyes .My skin is quite fair and so is my hair(although with the help of a world famous hair colour)!Never met anyone with violet eyes though.My Dog has a blue eye and a brown eye and a lady we met when out had the same ! Very distinctive!

I watched A Beautiful Mind last night and was mesmerised by Jennifer Connolly’s green eyes, they’re very striking.

Mine are gold (and bits of green)

Laurie, mine are very similar, with a pale blue/grey undercolour.

Me and DH have khaki eyes.
My DD has grey.
DS has very bright blue eyes like Elizabeth Taylor, courtesy of my grandmother (who was not, sadly, Elizabeth Taylor).

All the eye pictures are lovely, really pretty. Would love to see more.

I've seen plenty of bright blue eyes but never bright green. Most eyes described as green look more blueish or hazel to me.

@dottiedodah Is he a husky cross? I saw one the other day that was husky/collie, and he had one blue and one brown too.

MIL and DS have green eyes.

I have green eyes too. Yes to pp who said it's a genetic mutation - green is an allelic variant of blue.

I went to college with a girl who had eyes the same colour as barley sugar. They were amazing.

My maternal grandmother had really piercing jewel-green eyes. She was Irish, and had very white skin and jetbblack hair - really beautiful colouring that I’ve never seen again!

I have very dark hair and blue eyes but no Irish family so goodness knows where it comes from!

DH has dark green eyes, they look brown from a distance but are definitely green.

I had a friend at university who had the most striking bright green eyes, they weren't coloured contact lenses as they hadn't been invented then!

I used to work with a gorgeous man with black hair, pale skin and eyes that were nearer to violet than blue. Not the bright violet as in OP's photo, but a deep purply-blue. They were stunning and very unusual.

My dm has really green eyes, no hint of blue or yellow in them.

I got brown eyes, I’d look amazing with green eyes. Tried lenses but they sit too low on my iris and you can still see the brown.

I think I might get my brown eyes after all! Can they change? Mine are green but as I said I want brown. I’m wearing a black shirt so it could be that reflected 😟

My son has very green eyes, his birth mum is from an area of Pakistan where green eyes are fairly common.
