Properly violet or green eyes?

Other than fictitious characters do you know anyone, or do you have, these coloured eyes? I mean like really intense green or vivid purple? I’ve never seen anyone with any but would love to! Would love to have them myself too rather than my own sludgy brown, supremely inefficient ones!

I once met a charity mugger with the most incredible green eyes - they were literally forest green as you'd imagine Harry Potter's to be. I signed up just so I could keep talking to him. He asked me about my favourite local haunts, but I never saw him again unfortunately (should have asked for his number - early 20s, was way too timid) (can you tell he left an impression?!)

Ds has eyes that sometimes look blue and sometimes look green.

My dad has really pale blue, almost turquoise eyes. Unfortunately I inherited my mum's boring blue/grey instead.

My dh has such dark brown eyes that they just look black you can't see any colour in them at all.

My eyes are pretty green some days and light blue others. Never seen violet eyes though. Not sure actually now whether you'd say mine are properly green - just took this photo! You can judge. Sorry for extreme close up - had to crop my reflection out!

My ex had vibrant greens eyes the handsome bastard! Also have a friend with orange eyes. They're incredible.

My brother and I have the exact same colour eyes, they look boring Hazel from a distance, but up close they are amber/brown in the centre (like our dad), then green, with a dark grey line around the edge. Our dad has orangey brown eyes like a wolf lol. Mum and sis have blue eyes.

That purple eye thing in the picture is an internet myth.

My maternal grandmother had yellow-green eyes. They were beautiful, like a cat's.
I worked with a man who had very pale brown eyes with yellow stripes like the spokes of a wheel.

Not violet, but my best friends son has grass green eyes. Such a beautiful colour and he has the longest eyelashes to frame them too.

Mine are quite green but definitely depends on the light and what I’m wearing. I had the light on my face for this photo.

DH’s family all have nice coloured eyes albeit very different. MIL has gold coloured eyes and SIL has the most bright, sparkly blue I’ve ever seen.

I spent some time studying a tiny community of four families who had been intermarrying for centuries, although largely within each family. Most of the population were brown haired, brown eyed and olive skinned but many of them carried genes for red hair. The community had ended the practice of marrying first cousins and brought in genetic screening before marriage. As well as reducing the number of genetic disorders, it also coincidentally resulted in a large number of the children having the most beautiful, vivid eye colours - peacock blue, bright green, indigo, hyacinth blue, ice blue.

Serenada's eyes are beautiful but their eyes were more like the violet contact lenses Preoleai posted in the intensity of the colour.

Mine are green. I thought they'd gone murky hazel for years because I had so many of those amber flecks around the pupils that they nearly filled the irises. Since I've been medicated for a thyroid disorder the amber has practically vanished and the green is back. Because I'm sort of a muddy blonde with a pink skin tone they aren't very striking, sadly. But I like them.

DD1 has pure grey eyes. It's amazing because they take on different hues depending on whether it's sunny or cloudy, and what she's wearing.

My daughter had pure green eyes the colour of grass. They didn't go blue with what she was wearing, they always stayed green. It took two years for them to become that colour. They were that murky dark blue when she was born and then went to grey and finally became green.

I went to school with a girl with pale blonde hair, and leaf-green eyes. This was in the 60's, so I don't think she wore contact lenses!

I just tried to take a picture of mine. They are blue grey with a bright amber corona. But it just looks muddy in a picture.
