Properly violet or green eyes?

Other than fictitious characters do you know anyone, or do you have, these coloured eyes? I mean like really intense green or vivid purple? I’ve never seen anyone with any but would love to! Would love to have them myself too rather than my own sludgy brown, supremely inefficient ones!

My ds had blue eyes as a toddler which went green. He is in his 20s now and they are still very green - I have dark brown eyes as does his father. I love his eyes. All my sisters have brown eyes too but all our kids have green

Mine are very dark brown and my husband has steel blue eyes, which resulted in my DS having green eyes. I occasionally just stare at him thinking how beautiful his eyes are. He normally breaks that spell by saying: "wot you lookin' at?!"

Wow, Elizabeth Taylor's eyes are amazing. I'd imagine they look blue in some lights and violet in others.

Mil had Elizabeth Taylor eyes, they were lovely. She was the kid who was constantly told to wash that muck off your face at school, she never wore make up until late teens, she just looked like she had eye makeup and liner on, naturally.
My Dad had lovely clear green eyes. Wish I'd inherited them. Mine are blue hazel.

DD has green/grey eyes, when she’s very angry they go really green.

Mine are a very green shade of green, which I didn't realise until it was pointed out to me. However my friend has absolutely gorgeous bright green eyes; they look like she wears coloured contacts. She hates them because she feels they look cold - they don't at all!

I have never been sure of my own eye colour! Plain brown or hazel? Greenish if I cry.

My neighbour has yellow eyes.
Ok, they might be green, but so pale they may as well be called yellow. Pale skin & light brown hair.. and yellow eyes.

Mine are pale green (excuse terrible blurry pic and glowering eyebrow!). They were bright blue when I was a child but changed when I was a teenager. Sometimes they look more grey, but like others, if I've cried they are fiercely green. My dad and his mum had amazing pale ice blue eyes.

Mine are green grey. They have freckly bits on them. I met a man with really bright green eyes and yes, they made him stand out. I haven't seen violet in real life, but perhaps they're out there!

I have green eyes. They are olive green. Go dark when angry and bright green when upset/crying.

I keep trying to photograph but they just look like dark blobs at the moment.

I don't think any of the eyes pictured have been vivid green.

The people I've seen in RL with vived green eyes had Arab, Iranian, Afghan, Pakistani, North Indian, Nepalese or mixed heritage.

Elizabeth Taylor didn't have violet eyes, they were a very vived dark blue (have read many books about her and know people who met her or worked briefly with her). Photos of her have been retouched with violet eyes.

I have olive coloured eyes too. When l cry and my eyes go red, they look bright green.

I had lots of issues with mine, and l had to keep going back endlessly to the emergency eye drop in. They always said they remembered me, as ‘we see lots of eyes, but not many green ones’

I've never seen violet eyes before. My great grandmother had one bright green eye and the other light blue.

Mine look brown but taking a closer look and the flash in my eye they seem to have green around the outer edge. They were light brown when I was little nothing out of the ordinary

Mine are green around the outside and gold-y in the middle. Picture not the best but I tried.

The actor josh Henderson has one impossibly green eye.

Elizabeth Taylor also had a double row of eyelashes.

@ThisAintNoPartyThisAintNoDisco what do you mean double row, are they not supposed to be "all over the place" ?

All of the eyes pictured have been beautiful but very few green. Must be hard to photograph. Mine are boring old brown.

I have green eyes, they seem to change colour though. If I am very tired or have been crying a lot the green appears more intense. I can make them look very green with makeup. Green or purple eyeshadows can really bring the green right out.

@Preoleai That colour violet isn't really possible. The most you will get is an intense deep mauvy blue. Your pic is only possible with contact's. Probably lighting will affect eye colour anyway, so Elizabeth Taylor's eyes may have been violet in darker lighting? It was commented on so many times there must have been a lighting affect.

I think my eyes are quite greeny in colour, and have a grey border. My dad has very pale blue eyes (almost like a duck egg blue), and my mum's are a dark hazel.

My eyes are very green, as were my dad's. Both my children have green eyes too. We are all exceptionally fair skinned.
