Properly violet or green eyes?

Other than fictitious characters do you know anyone, or do you have, these coloured eyes? I mean like really intense green or vivid purple? I’ve never seen anyone with any but would love to! Would love to have them myself too rather than my own sludgy brown, supremely inefficient ones!

My DD and I both have green eyes, but a fairly muted tone. The intensity of colour does vary with what colour I'm wearing, how tanned I am and so on. My hair is brown but DD has very bright red hair.
A friend's daughter has the most amazing pale blue eyes. Paired with almost white blonde hair. Very elven.

Also, go very light in the summer but as someone said against a tanned skin they can look lighter.

DH has very green eyes. Mine are a non-descript hazel and very boring in comparison.

I have khaki green eyes with a brown border, Hazel really and many people compliment them but I say green as I’d love green eyes.

Dh and dd have very green eyes. Dd2 has extraordinary blue eyes. All 3 vivid blonde as well.

Mine are grey and my hair is mousy brown. So not fair.

My mother is truly stunning. Elizabeth Taylor style. Green eyes, porcelain skin and jet black long thick hair. Megan Markle's dress was very like mum's in style - simple and elegant and she wore a beehive with a veil.Grin

I also have green eyes, as does DD some of the time. Hers are a bit of a talking piece (pair). It depends on what she wears or her mood. They are either very green or very blue. She has a brown speck in one as well so she gets lots of comments as sometimes they look like they are two different colours.

DC1 had green eyes as a toddler. Now golden brown.
Certainly skin tone and clothing could influence the greenness. When she cried and her face went red, they looked very green, similarly if she wore green clothing.

I've a friend with China blue eyes and dark hair. It's a very striking combination.

I have green eyes. They were blue when I was a child, but changed to green in my teens. I’m so pale, it looks like I don’t have eyelashes or eyebrows, so they stand out more.

I think that's a very common look in Ireland. I've loads of male cousins with pale skin, black hair and bright blue eyes.

Also green eyes here. Sometimes they look grey. If I’m crying they look very green.
My mam is also green eyed. One of my brothers has yellow eyes. They are the most unusual colour. I also once knew a guy years ago who had such pale green eyes they looked almost white. Both my children have grey/green eyes like me.
I always wanted dark brown eyes. I’m very jealous of brown eyed people lol.

They queen has very blue eyes, as did my mum. I’ve met a few people with grey eyes (so very pale blue) and they look so cold! Mine are lovely green.

Yeah, both me and DD1 have exactly the same shade of watery green. DD2 and DP both have lovely blue eyes!

I was walking along a high street years ago and a man came out of nowhere and started screaming at me that I had the evil eye, etc. Green eyes, devil, blah blah. I was young though so I kind of became quite paranoid about them and hated them after that.

Yes to the dark, brown eyes. Beautiful.

Now mine were like malt washers when I was little - I don’t know exactly when they went green but I do remember looking in a mirror when I was in my mid teens and thinking ‘they are green’. My sister has brown but they go green when she is sick or tired (or turning into the hulk).
