Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

Morning! I’ll have a tea and some toast, some fruit juice too, don’t worry I’ll get it.

What’s everyone up to today in rl? Little one is still in bed, no doubt it’ll be a day of playing in the garden again and a walk round the block. I can’t take him to the park as he cries when he can’t go on the slide or the climbing frame, I feel awful as he doesn’t understand Sad

Morning!
Please can I have a very large mug of tea sassh thanks? How are you today? Simple lunch sounds delicious right up my street Smile
how old is your little one pink? It's so confusing for them isn't it
Ds is doing his virtual cub camp this weekend so it's a day of setting the tent up outside and collecting firewood etc for us
Was hoping it would be a little cooler but no such luck (I'm no good with heat)

PinkDaydreams · 29/05/2020 07:58

@mogloveseggs I’m also useless in the heat! Little one was two in January, he’s too young to even try to explain. We walked past the playground the other day (id forgotten it was on the way to sainsburys) and some parents and children had climbed over the gate to play in there, I felt awful as he was crying for ages.
Virtual cub camp actually sounds fun!

Made a few too many 'skinny' (with soda) spicy Margaritas. Splash of cointreau, loads of tequila, freshly squeezed lime shaken up with plenty of ice. Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of bucket glass. Mix a teaspoon of salt, fine chilli flakes and a teeny bit of sugar on a saucer and dip glass. Add extra ice, decant Margarita, top up with soda, stir and voila!!! Wake up next day with vague recollections of dancing with cat to "Dance Monkey" and crying at our Nation's heroes type adverts.

@sashh meiow!!!

Thanks for yummy Masala Omelette and bloody Mary.

Cat's the one that likes a group dance - his Macarena's second to none; you should see his Stray Cats strut.

@PinkDaydreams 2? Lovely age but they won't understand. Have you a beach anywhere near? Might be quiet in the mornings?

Report
PinkDaydreams · 29/05/2020 20:19

@mogloveseggs beach is a car journey away, I’ve been worried about getting stopped and being told that the journey is not a necessity! Blush as lockdown eases I’ll take him as he will love running in and out of the sea. How did today go, camping and firewood? Have you got to camp out tonight?

Morning sashh, oh no - is it just you affected or whole area? Hopefully it'll be sorted soon

Frownette · 30/05/2020 04:51

If I hadn't taken a very thorough shower last night and that happened to me this morning I'd be scuppered - my hair was rank.

It should be high priority though.

Well I've got water comming out of the tap now but the update says the pressure is intermittant.

OK Breakfast, how about fruit and yoghurt today? Obviously toast will also be available so if you want a banana on toast that's fine.
