Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

Morning. I haven't stopped by for a couple of weeks and I've missed you all. I've never had steak and eggs for breakfast...it might cure the slight hangover that is threatening! DS submitted his final essay to university yesterday so that's him finished. We celebrated with him...but he really wanted the end of uni party he would have had pre covid. Still, it is done now.
So, steak and eggs and black coffee please.

@PinkDaydreams did you do any duck? I hope so, then we can have a "duck filled fatty puss" or two.

I really need to get my arse into gear today, my last three college assignments are due on Wednesday and I've only started one them 🙈
If you hear any strange noises in the cafe late at night over the weekend, don't be alarmed, it's just me getting some caffeine to keep me going!!

@NoGravyForYou I feel your pain, I'm currrently on a break from revising for an OU exam.

@AlCalavicci You will have seen chafing dishes if you have ever had a hotel breakfast, or an all you can eat buffet, they keep food warm.

Evening all! Was up to my eyeballs with college work today but still only managed to get a few hundred words on the page. My brain is fried 😭

Just going to grab a chamomile tea and sit out in the garden and try and relax.

@sashh thank you for looking after me! @mogloveseggs I enjoyed it as much as I could during this lockdown. I honestly didn’t think I’d had that much to drink, this morning I felt awful though so obviously I had more than I thought!

Its a bit early for pastry for me but I'd love a quiche for lunch so can I have one and poached eggs on toast. Oreo is zooming around the garden , he lives the wind in his fur ( in RL he can't go out 🙁 )

No problem I'll pack up quiche to go with a bit of salad.
