Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

I have to take a shower and I remember you talking about doing floors.

Ok so extra strong flat white and full fry up.

Thank you , that will keep me going for a while , ( irl i have 3 pints of grapefruit delivered a week , I love the stuff)
We have stopped doing the sub floor work for a but as the area is getting busy and people get a bit discombobulated if there is no floor for them to walk on 🤔

I've just woken up, 12 hours sleep - that never happens, I must be coming down with something.

It looks like my sleep patterns are being a little erratic at the moment.

Has anyone seen Florence and Fernando? I last saw them sharing cocktails in the garden.

I had entirely patchy sleep last night so not very with it!

I've had breakfast and taken my vitamins so may go back for a catnap.

UMM hello , I am a bit late this morning !
I had a lousy night sleep to , I got up for a bit at 3 am ( about the time I would get up for work but not in today ) pottered about for a bit , took my cat for a walk and went back to bed at 5 ish , I woke up at 10am
I have to go shopping and do some house work ( rock and roll life style y'know ! ) but I need some food 1st , is there anything in the fridge i can swipe ?

@AlCalavicci grab a cocktail and some cheese on toast?

DO you often walk your cat? I had one that would accompany me on short walks.

It will have to be a mocktail I am off the bozze for a bit but I'd love a pretend Mojito .
Dcat is only young ( about a year ) I have had him since early this year . He has not been neutered / chipped party down to covid and partly due to my long working hrs ( vets wont operate over wkends ) so he has to stay in but every evening he sits in his carrier on the door step for a few hrs but when its quiet and I have plenty of time , like this morning I take him for a walk , he is scared of cars and people atm so I am hoping he gets a bit more use to the world outside and gets to know his way around so that when I do eventual let him out on his own he doesnt get lost.

This is all very outing so hello to anyone that knows me IRL

Oh the cat sounds so cute.

Mine goes round the neighbours pretending to be a starving kitten. She's been with me 10 years but somehow they still think she's young. She is small though.

It is cute but I wish he did not think he has to sniff every single gate post , lamp post , and car bumper , he is worse than any dog I have ever owned , a walk that would take me 5 mins will take 30 mins or more with him , I came back home bloody freezing this morning due to the snails pace we moved

Lol, maybe he thinks he is a dog?

My old cat, where I used to live was a road between two main roads, it was the walking t=route to two schools so at 8.30 am he would go out and sit on the wall waiting for school children to adore him.

oh does think he is a dog , we play fetch with bits of paper at least once a week ( he taught me how to do this rather than the other way round )

LOL I grew up with a cat that sat on the wall but she was a grumpy sod and hissed at anyone that came to closer to HER house

I don't think we have had a Chinese breakfast yet so I thought Congee, Bauo (?sp) glutinous rice and of course tea.

Florence is trying her skills making dim sum and Fernando seems to be enticing the kitten bees with some honey milk mocktail (I hope it's a mocktail drunk kitten bees would be, interesting).

I hope the kitten bees don't have a hang over , they could go from cute fluffy creature to hissing spitting clawing stinging creatures that poke you with there brollys tails !
