Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

It's too hot to cook today so it's going to be a cold breakfast bufet.

Help yourselves to juices, fruit, smoothies, yogurt, 'vegan banana icecream', hams, cheeses and of course Florence has baked lovely bread and cakes overnight.

I'm doing ok. A mutual friend got in contact to say my ex wasn't doing ok, so I had to make a decision about it I wanted to reach out to him. In the end I decided not to, he has lots of friends and family that should be able to support him. He's not my problem anymore.

Other than that, I'm actually in a really great place. I never thought I'd be so happy just myself.

How is everyone else? How is your daughter @mogloveseggs ?

Oooo pie for breakfast, I remember an episode of dragons den with a pie man and they looked gorgeous! I’m sure he did a fry up in a pie!

@PinkDaydreams you don't need the sauce, if you want something 'wet' you have a bit of gravy.

Gravy or brown sauce, either will be great!

It looks like a hot day and as it is the weekend I thought we's have a bbq brunch.

I fancy the beach either today or tomorrow but from looking at the news the pictures of the beaches look so crowded! It’s a shame as little one loves the beach.
Bbq brunch sounds good! Can we have some square sausage on the bbq please?!

Morning all! Bbq brunch is perfect, I will also be having a glass of bubbly with mine. I didn't want to say it yesterday in case I failed but I had my theory test yesterday for driving and managed to get pass and actually get every single question right!!! Might not seem like a lot to most people but it's just another post break up achievement for me and I'm delighted with my self.

I'm old enough that i didn't have to do theory for both my tests (I have a motorbike licence as well as a car) it must be nerve wracking.

OK square sausage on the bbq, pigs in blankets on skewers, a frying pan with onions in (Australian trick) mushroom kebabs, french bread stuffed with mashed potato and sweet potato.

Salads on the side.

Another Australian trick, I've prayed insect repelant under the table - stops the insects but doesn't spoil the food.

@PinkDaydreams there is a large sandpit next to the paddling pool, it has a wave maker so try it out.

@PinkDaydreams we're thinking of checking the tides and going to blackpool later on. Have done this before and it's been a lot quieter.

@mogloveseggs I love blackpool zoo, we normally go every year as it’s probably only about an hour away from us. Good idea regarding the beach, I’ll check the weather and tides for tomorrow.
