Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

Well you all seem to have plans and I think @NoGravyForYou poured me a little too much champagne so I think I'll just make up picnic baskets for you all.

Any left over bbq sausages can be a starting point, Florence has baked some lovely quiches and pies overnight and I'll make a batch of bacon and egg tartlets.

Lovely day already, I was up early, got some washing done and pegged out on the line.
I think it’ll be paddling pool weather today, decided to leave the beach over the weekend as it’ll be busy.

We are heading to a spot on a river about 40 mins away that is slightly tidal so people get in and paddle. There's a nice restaurant there as well. Looking forward to it!

Well it looks like another hot day. I know some people will be heading to work and others will be bust to hot and cold drinks and breakfast sandwiches are on offer.

If you don't want something hot you can grab a 'breakfast bag', a paper bag containing a cream cheese bagel, a sweet pastry and a juice in a box.

It looks quite cloudy here today, a walk down to the park that’s further away is in store for me and the little one. And that’s about it!

I have been at work since 4am and I am starving but I will get grumpy looks if a warm my lunch up at this time of the day as it's curry .

Its already 19 up here in the north west , too warm for working !
I want to take my steel toe cap boots off and play in a paddling pool >>>stomps feet in a tantrum

I am a specialist cleaner so we work with floor scrubbers and have to heave heavy chemical vats around .
We are in very high demand atm ( hence the stupid o'clock starts ) .
I have been electrostatic spraying all morning so dressed mask, paper boiler suit , visor, rubber gloves . = bloody hot

Thank you for the snack bag curry is now in the microwave 😛

Oh @mogloveseggs sorry to hear it was so busy, we didn’t go in the end as we thought the beaches would be busy because of the weather.
@AlCalavicci your job sounds rather uncomfortable, have a dip in the pool in the back garden, watch out for kitten bees!

Wow @AlCalavicci that sounds like hard work but also strangely interesting. I make no wonder the kitchen is spotless when you guys take over the kitchen.

Well the breakfast bags did well so I'll make some more, with fruit, juice, croissant and and a baguette with apricot preserve.

I'll fire up the plancher for anyone who wants something fried.

Good morning all! I was up through the night watching the lightening and the torrential rain! It was lovely to watch!

Welcome @MinnieMountain there is indeed chorizo, what do you want with it? Id normally finish it in red wine but it seems a little early.

We are all lovely on here @MinnieMountain, when I have been unwell or busy other people have opened the cafe for me.

The garden has a water feature that can be paddled in, the kitten bees have their own corner and the cats have a play area.

The sensory garden is nice to chill in, make yourself at home.

I really like this thread because of that very reason, everyone is so nice and caring. It’s my own little escape each morning (sometimes I pop in during the afternoon too)

It has been a pure escape for me the last few months when life hasn't been the nicest!

I've brought some ice pops, it's glorious here again so I'll be out in the garden eating one.

Is it late enough to have my chorizo with red wine for lunch now?

I'm going to enjoy the water here before I pick DS up from MIL's.

We don't judge at what time you open up your red wine here @MinnieMountain. There's been times where we've opened the gin in the morning 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sashh it is interesting but it is hard work .
Next week we are cleaning under the floors ( yes really ! ) . There is a floating floor set up so once a year we go under and give everything a good clean.
The floor is made up of 10 kilo tiles and though I have never counted them I reckon there is about 2,000 of the buggers.

Anyone one want a job ? >>>> looks around hopfully
