I work in hospitality. Thanks!

OP posts:
Therealabbeyclancy · 18/05/2020 11:46

Definitely!!
I can't wait to be able to choose something I don't/can't make at home and have it without having to think about clearing up afterwards.

Hope you're back at work soon Flowers

Therealabbeyclancy · 18/05/2020 11:47

Sorry, early 40s

MarcelineMissouri · 18/05/2020 11:48

Yes, we love eating out and miss it terribly. We will be back as soon as they open (provided dh hasn’t lost his leisure industry job...) We’re both in our 40’s

GlennRheeismyfavourite · 18/05/2020 11:50

Yes - can't wait!! I'm 36!

Glowcat · 18/05/2020 11:50

No. I’m in my 40s.

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 18/05/2020 11:51

Yes. I actually tried to make a booking for Mid-July just last night. I'm 34.

0nwardsAndUpwards · 18/05/2020 11:51

I'd probably be too wary of going out straight away, would depend what restrictions are still in place I guess? I'm not sure...
DH would be out like a shot though Grin
We're early 30's.

ReturnofSaturn · 18/05/2020 11:52

Yes - early 30's

AmNot · 18/05/2020 11:52

Yes. Early 40s.

Maisieme · 18/05/2020 11:53

No, early 60s.

Frazzlesandacoke · 18/05/2020 11:53

No, not yet. 50.

mynameiscalypso · 18/05/2020 11:53

Yes, mid-30s. My parents (late 60s) feel the same.

SkelingtonArgument · 18/05/2020 11:53

Yes. 57

thatcarolebaskinbitch · 18/05/2020 11:54

Yes!! We eat out every Saturday night as no DC and live a pretty frugal life but food is our one passion so what our disposable income goes on Smile we have actually been buying gift cards for restaurants still to support them and so it doesn't cost us a fortune going to all our favourite places after lockdown! We are in our 20's.

happypotamus · 18/05/2020 11:54

Probably. I am doing plenty of things that are now considered high risk (working in a hospital, travelling by public transport, going to supermarkets), so I might as well do something fun that is also considered high risk. I didn't go to restaurants that often before though, because I have DC and no babysitters, but, in principle, I would go. I am 38.

Dollywilde · 18/05/2020 11:55

Absolutely. I'm 31 but also 28 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't be comfortable standing shoulder to shoulder with someone in a packed bar (although at 28 weeks pregnant I wouldn't be doing that full stop!) but in a restaurant I'd be happy. We've continued to order takeaway throughout the lockdown so I'm not worried about getting the virus via food. The brief interactions with the waiting staff wouldn't worry me from a viral load perspective.

Would practice good hygiene with plenty of handwashing before and after eating and I'd choose locations carefully - I'd probably give my local Italian a steer as tables are packed in, with about 8 inches between each couple, and I'd skip Wagamama to avoid a communual table. But I'd absolutely go for a meal if I could.

WhatHaveIFound · 18/05/2020 11:55

No, i'm in my early 50s.
No money and lack of atmosphere in restaurants are two things that woud put me off in addition to catching Coronovirus.

AuntieMarys · 18/05/2020 11:55

Yes...I'm 60. We ate out 2-3 times a week in the old days

CrowdedHouseinQuarantine · 18/05/2020 11:56

even more skint
so
no, 50s

Ultrasoft · 18/05/2020 11:56

I won't be out the first weekend, mostly because I think it will take restaurants a while to find their rhythm again and adjust to new social distancing working practices. Which could mean the service is likely to be poor, like it often is when a new restaurant first opens, but a lovely meal out with friends is something in looking forward to. I'm 50.

Baaaahhhhh · 18/05/2020 11:56

Yes. Mid 50's healthy weight, no other health issues.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 18/05/2020 11:57

Yes!

Me and dh share the cooking doing, but my god I just want to sit and talk to my DH, drink fizz and have some one else cook.

I expect restaurants to have less tables etc when the are allowed to re open but tbh our favourite place is well spaced out and only does bookings anyway so I am happy to go there

Wheresmrlion · 18/05/2020 11:57

No, not straight away. Maybe in the autumn. Late 30s.

I’m wary of lots of different fingers touching plates and glassware!

WeveGottaGetTherouxThis · 18/05/2020 11:57

Yes absolutely. Mid 30s. We cannot wait.

Eleanorshellstrop1 · 18/05/2020 11:57

No, late 20s
Can't imagine it being a fun experience if restaurants open like some pictures from around the world, screens between people, everyone wearing masks except when eating etc
