New leader. Good news, but wish Lisa Nandy could have been deputy.

I wasn't implying, nor did I think for a minute, that you belonged to one of those factions, Smile.

Unless they intend to stab him in the back, I can't imagine either a dyed-in-the-wool Corbynista or a Momentum supporter getting behind Starmer.

It's highly unlikely he'll be able to bring about any worthwhile change while there's dissension in the ranks, nor do I believe that he'll implement what some sources claim will be a 'scorched earth' policy to remove the hard left.

I hope to be pleasantly surprised, but think it more likely that I'll be left quietly depairing.
