Please cheer me up with your first world problems (light hearted)

I'm self isolating with a cold (as far as you can when you have kids who keep wanting to see you)... so entertain me... this thread is light hearted please so exaggerate them all you like Only on day 2 and ready to cry

I'll start

I am very distressed, in fact utterly distraught because Gousto have just emailed me to say they can't get enough balsamic vinegar to go with my recipes so they're sending me red wine vinegar instead... my world is ruined.

I bought a lovely new sundress and some espadrilles before this all kicked off and now I have nowhere to wear them

I was in M&S Food yesterday but couldn't fancy anything because we have eaten like kings these last few weeks anyway. Left with just a box of satsumas and a scented candle. To add insult to injury the satsumas weren't even that special

We have run out of hoisin, tamarin, olives and smoked salmon...

I had planned to make the children an Easter cake for Sunday but we have no real butter or mini eggs so can't bake it. We're now self isolating so I can't go shopping and it seems silly to ask someone to get it for us. Also it's looking like no hot cross buns on Friday which is the only day of the year I eat them (Christian based).

Asda substituted my hair bleach for handwash x2...

Maybe they know something I don't

I've been eating normal bread as can't get any sourdough.

Ocado had no Heston prawn cocktail in our delivery and we are running low on Malden sea salt !
Our hot tub isn't heating hot enough 😢

Another one out of amaretto. We used the last on the apple crumble last weekend

I'm craving lasagna but no lasagna pasta sheets...

I am cooking a roast dinner, there is only one solitary parsnip left, they are my fave

I am consoling myself with the last of the gin, with tonic and lemon, no ice because that would mean going into the cellar and I could not be bothered.

My tolerance for alcohol is very low at the moment and we are celebrating today so opened a bottle of champagne. I can't face a second glass and DH doesn't usually drink (due to driving laws but is wfh at the moment so is having the odd tipple here and there) but has joined me in half a glass. Complete waste.

I've run out of the good vanilla and am having to use vanilla sugar sachets instead.

I have a car on the drive that was supposed to go back last week (end of lease). I don't know if I own it or can drive it?! Not that I have anywhere to go!

I am celebrating my Silver Wedding soon. I have some time booked off . We cannot go anywhere or have anyone visit or visit them.
No point making a cake (even if I could get all the ingredients) only I like fruitcake and I cannot eat a whole one .

We were going on holiday in a couple of months ( DH and I ) leaving the DC (adults) behind . Obviously this has been cancelled .

I have a couple of nice dresses I bought for the holiday , the shorter ones are ideal to wear in the summertime .

We've found some very old kids glass paint to paint a rainbow 🌈 on living room window.

The green is way too pale.

I went to use some saved aqufaba this morning for vegan meringues, and realised I had no cream of tartar to thicken it, nor parchment paper to line the trays.
I threw the aquafaba down the drain in a huff

There was an issue taking my Gousto payment so they cancelled all my upcoming orders (there was actually no problem with the payment )
As they then advised me they could not reinstate them, I cancelled my subscription in a terrible huff. Now they won't allow me to reinstate it, despite me apologising for being a dick. I'm now reduced to foraging in the supermarket like a feral animal

I had no vodka, or prosecco didn't want to go to the shops but found a local instant delivery place and willy nilly ordered both at vast expense, they were delivered within 2 hours! just seen the RRP on the vodka is a fiver less than they charged #servesmeright
