I'm self isolating with a cold (as far as you can when you have kids who keep wanting to see you)... so entertain me... this thread is light hearted please so exaggerate them all you like Only on day 2 and ready to cry

I'll start

I am very distressed, in fact utterly distraught because Gousto have just emailed me to say they can't get enough balsamic vinegar to go with my recipes so they're sending me red wine vinegar instead... my world is ruined.

We had intended to binge watch Game of Thrones this weekend.
We have them all on Blueray but can’t find the power lead for the player.
Watching all the Star Wars on Disney+ Instead but it’s not the same.

I can’t find any falafels and my Hush jumper is stuck in the (now closed) dry cleaners 😂

I was looking forward to some rather nice pate on toast this morning, was my one treat- it wasnt in the fridge. Found it at dinner time as I was persuading the kids to wash their hands- in the bathroom bin. The shrink wrap had a lot of chew Mark's on it, the youngest had nabbed it and tried to eat it 😭

I have not had my lash extensions infilled. It's a very difficult time

I have to clean my own house

I can't get an Ocado order, so have to go shopping in actual supermarket

I have to look after my own kid

My eyebrows look scary already

I had to hoover my own house today. We have a cleaner so it hasn’t been used in a few years as she always brings her own. It killed me and I can’t wait for this lockdown to be over 🤪

Our stair carpet is only half laid. They started it 3 weeks ago. Went away to get some extra bits. I then went into self isolation. It's now lock down and the shop has shut. We had saved up for 2 years to get a carpet . Now we just have nails to stand on . 😭😁

My eyelashes need infilling. My Salon has re-booked me in for a full set when they plan on reopening, on the 1st of May. But I think they've being too optimistic.

Despite always wanting to be the kind of woman with a big house and a cleaner and no idea where the (expensive, Miele) vacuum cleaner is kept, now it's happened to me, it's actually quite annoying.

Having to do the floors with the stupid little Dyson. MYSELF.

I am having to clean my own home and care for my own child.

Also, thanks to working from home with DH, I now know more than I ever wanted to about the inner workings of brokerage firms

Dh made a flat white coffee this morning and was very proud of it. Sadly, we didn't have the right kind of mug for him to get a good photo to put on Twitter.

Also - we just paid $$$ to get a new bathroom. All done, except the glass around the shower. So we just paid $$$ to get a bathroom we can only look at, not use.

Asda sent me 2 bottles of weird 3 in one kids bodywash, shampoo and conditioner instead of my nice one.

I can't get Knorr ham stock cubes anywhere, how am I meant to make proper traditional Scottish lentil soup without them?

The building work for my second home by the coast has been indefinitely paused. And The Walking Dead won't be filming the season finale until later in the year. Not sure which upsets me more...

I'm stupidly not wearing my favourite nightie (my only decent one) just in case I get taken into hospital with cv.

I can’t remember which pizza place on Ubereats made the best vegetarian pizza... so I ordered something else but really wanted pizza. FML.

With everyone at home we are getting though more eggs every day than our chooks can lay and we can't buy more (chooks that is, not eggs) so we have to eat shop bought eggs. Not happy.
