Looking forward to some interesting store cupboard creations!

Ours is nachos with pulled pork on top with Mexican spiced (probably completely inauthentic) rice. Pork and rice both from previous meals and out of the freezer, will add a tin of sweetcorn and maybe kidney beans depending on whether it looks enough (large family)

Crisps and dips bought this week as they were pretty much the only aisles that still contained food.

Carb heavy but I don’t care, I’ve had to cancel my wedding 😭

Pizza and salad

Meal planning was hard today. It's always hard because DH is vegan and DC between them don't eat peppers, aubergine, courgette, kale, spinach. But it is especially hard when you can't rely on getting pasta, rice, tinned chopped tomatoes, and it's going to be summer temperatures at the weekend and I can't remember what we eat in the summer.

For me and dh Beer battered fish fillets (love the sound when DH drops it in the oil, I’m too scared to do it) with buttery baby potatoes, mushy peas and coleslaw & champagne as it’s our wedding anniversary 🍾🥂

DC had fish fingers, baby potatoes, pepper & carrott sticks before they went too bed...they are all under 5 so I’m not a cruel mummy putting teenagers to bed early or anything

Hairy bikers pork and black bean stew

Homemade pizza tonight. Will make the dough later.

We've just had a Dishoom rip off breakfast - sausage 'naan' wraps. Had parathas in the freezer, as well as some sausages. Made some chilli jam with a tomato chutney, ketchup and hot sauce.

Heading to the butcher in the minute for some short ribs and beef cheeks - Mexican night tonight so we are making barbecoa, and home made tacos! A case of a certain Mexican beer that begins with 'C' already chilling in the fridge.

Tonight we're having a roast leg of lamb, with home-made gravy, creamy garlic mash, roast pumpkin, parsnip and kumara/sweet potato, baby carrots, asparagus, beans, broccoli, brussies and leek.

Having had an M&S quiche and leftover pizza for lunch, dinner is steak for us and turkey for dd. BBQ if the weather holds, the grill can be cleaned sufficiently and the gas bottle has enough in it.

Tomorrow will be liver baked on stuffing, which I will check with DMIL about the recipe.

Ordered burgers via Uber eat this afternoon and veg curry with chapattis tonight

I'm fancying beans on toast with sausages, but have eggs to use up so might have fried eggs on toast instead. DH will probably have pizza.

Thai style egg fried rice with some mini prawns out of the freezer and assorted sliced veggies.

Tomorrow it’ll be a gammon joint (simmered to make lovely ham stock) with parsley sauce (parsley out of the freezer), mash and Savoy cabbage.

I’ve already mentioned pizza, dough is in the breadmaker, also doing some buffalo cauliflower as got some that needs used.

Saturday night is Fakeaway night, so we’re having Mexican this evening. Chilli burritos with LOTS of wine.

DS and Dh having last nights leftover roasted veg and cheesy pasta bake, I’m either having an omelette or egg and bacon 👍🏻

I don't suppose anyone's got a good chili nachos recipe have they?!

Cheese and onion quiche with fries tonight

A tiny belly of pork joint so supplemented it with some posh alsace hot dog sausages and bbq sauce, boiled potato and mixed veg

We had a mustardy chicken thing with rice - onions, mushrooms and chicken in a sauce of chicken stock, whole grain mustard and Philadelphia.

We had drinks, garlic bread and veg sticks with extended family via zoom earlier.
So egg and soldiers (optional marmite).
