Looking forward to some interesting store cupboard creations!

Ours is nachos with pulled pork on top with Mexican spiced (probably completely inauthentic) rice. Pork and rice both from previous meals and out of the freezer, will add a tin of sweetcorn and maybe kidney beans depending on whether it looks enough (large family)

Crisps and dips bought this week as they were pretty much the only aisles that still contained food.

Carb heavy but I don’t care, I’ve had to cancel my wedding 😭

Weekly shop completed today, so dinner is steak from the freezer with Parmesan chicken also out of the freezer for dd, with chips, mushroom masala sauce, spinach and roasted vine tomatoes.
Tomorrow is fakeaway Chinese and Saturday I’m cooking a joint of ham, which will keep us in lunches for a few days too.
Sunday roast beef, with leftovers feeding us in one way or another Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday/Thursday freezer surprise.
Good Friday Hoping I might be able to get some fresh fish otherwise homemade fish cakes in the freezer, will have to do.

I always meal plan, and batch cook, so freezer always well stocked from working shifts for the last 13 years. Now out of work even more important. I love to cook but could murder a takeaway, or someone else making me a meal.

Only shopping once a week, dh still working so picks bread and milk up on his way home.

Prawn and seabass risotto

Continuing on our chicken theme tonight we are having stuffed chicken breasts , veggie rice and roasted peppers and tomoatoes .

Chicken thighs with new potatoes (and butter) plus carrots, broccoli and carrots.
Frys Chocolate cream for pudding (later with a cuppa).

Bangers n' mash, with our usual shite load of veges.

That prawn and seabass risotto sounds absolutely gorgeous.

@Justtrying, I hear you. I could bloody murder a takeout.

Curried carrot and lentil soup, using up another jar (madras paste this time) from the fridge. Dinner is spaghetti and meatballs. Was made to do 'forced fun' with colleagues on VC this afternoon so hit the wine early...

Nando’s again... (homemade with nando spices and sauce)

Peri peri Chicken and halloumi cheese pitta breads... garlic and herb corn garlic wedges and coconut and garlic corn on the cob... side of cheesy bread and Nando sauces to dip..

Kids new favourite meal...

Chicken biryani with yesterday’s leftover roast chicken.

We went classy tonight, fish fingers in pita bread with mayo and lettuce!

we had meatballs with onion gravy and potatos. Very good.

Tonight we shall be having the much loved Jamie Oliver's Sweet Tomato and Aubergine Rigatoni.

Some kind of bok choy and broccoli stir fry.

Husband is hoping to procure some steak from Sainsbury's later so that's the plan....but we do have a freezer plan B!

We're getting food delivered, debating what the mildly fussy DCs would eat off the Indian takeaway menu.

we're on takeaway as well tonight - DD is pushing for pizza as the local Base is still open, DH wants spicy and Mao is still an option, I'm just happy to not cook tonight.

Takeaway tonight - domino's and prosecco. Right now am traipsing a heavy laptop bag into work and arm feels like it's gonna drop off. So am looking forward to getting home, flopping on the bed and relaxing.

Home-made fish n' chips tonight.

Chicken Something

Two ingredients (chicken and cabbage), plus spices! I may add potatoes though to roast with the cabbage.

Chicken sausage orzo bake hopefully.

I am going to do a full chicken something along with mashed potatoes and a broccoli cheese.

Quick easy comfort food here tonight. Cheesy French toast.

Well I had a really bad headache and went to sleep and DH decided he isn't hungry so we're leaving the takeaway and I think I'll have cheese on toast.
