I'll start. I used a different washing powder. Pro - it smells nice and must be same one as someone I'm friendly with as reminds me of them! Con - it's made my nose all allergenic. Back to the supermarket own brand one for me.

Me and the cats are all just about ready for lights off and sleep.

It's so quiet I can hear one of them snoring.

The mum of the family I support really stood up for herself today. For the first time I feel that things just might work out for her and her lovely children.

@BuzzShitbagBobbly do cats snore?! Does it sound like purring? I have no cats as you can tell.

I've been in bed since 9, all ready for an early night but I can't sleep. Mumsnet usually makes me sleepy so hoping it works soon! Also have to remember to put the bins out in the morning.

do cats snore?! Does it sound like purring? I have no cats as you can tell.

Not all of them and of mine, only some of them, some of the time.

It's more of a gentle snuffle than a real snore, but it's very sweet - means they are so comfortable and relaxed they are totally sparko. I also have a twitchy dreamer one too!

I’m studying for an interview tomorrow and going slightly insane so having a break!

I just did myself a manicure and painted my nails after nice hot shower with my Rituals bath stuff I got for birthday - I'm happy !

Good luck for your interview tomorrow @izzy, I am a bit weird and quite enjoy them, I used to hate conducting them though, always seemed to be more nerve wracking!

DH and I have just started 3 different shows: Good Girls, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Mrs Fletcher. Have only watched one episode of each and not sure which one to continue with!

Made a really good, easy dinner.

Chicken fillets, fried on each side for 5 mins. Add a couple tablespoons cream cheese, tablespoon pesto, splodge of chicken stock. Allow to simmer. Add cherry toms. Cook another 5 mins. Serve with boiled baby pots and broccoli.

I've just been out in my garden (it's a work in progress), in a fluffy blanket with a torch , a trowel , my dog , a tennis ball and secateurs.

It is so peaceful and the moon so beautiful .
I start chemo on my foot tomorrow and I'm trying not to worry about it .

I hate interviews, am seriously shit at them and end up a sweaty, bumbling mess! I really want this post though, don’t know how many people I’m up against either

@Izzybuzzybuzzybees some nerves are good as it shows you really want the job, don't be nervous to ask for a moment to think or for the question to be repeated either. If you feel like you're blabbering just take a moment, they want people to do well as well, even though it's scary. I'm sure you'll do great, knowing a bit about the company is sometimes all it takes to be the forerunner for a job!

@Butterwhy Thank you, will take that advice on board. I’m trying to be a bit more positive but it’s not my usual way of thinking. I’m definitely a negative person. I can only do my best I guess.

Ddog1 is snoozing by my feet and Ddog2 is snoring on the floor. Cats may not snore like humans but dogs do!
In other news I have just started another thread as I have cystitis. Can't stop going to the loo!

My fussy DS tried fajitas today and really liked them

We got a new Shark vacuum today and despite only just using our old one yesterday the stuff that came out the carpet was crazy.

The carpets feel thick and soft and fluffy again too and it's so much easier to do the stairs and the hard floors (which the old one struggled with, it just blew the dirt around for some reason.)

@PenguinsOnParade its amazing isn't it. Try it on the mattress next

It's a lot warmest so I'm wearing a jacket instead of my duvet sized coat. It's so nice not to be weighed down.
