or
Loo-Boo-TAN

Please put me out of my misery!
(As you might have guessed, they're not in my price range however it's pronounced.)

I was once corrected by a man in a Co-op who was taking my Hermes parcel. I think he said “Her-meez” but I was too busy being offended that he corrected me that I forgot what he said

I said lar Tay and my sister laughed at me and said "lar Tay" hahah it's " la Tay"

That's a tricky one to pronounce correctly.
My DC (born in france) still laugh at me trying to say "serrure" or "fourrure".

For Latte, the Italians say Lat-teh, but the Americans turned it into Lar-tay.
