Been geeking this morning on the number of flights having to go around

Noticed several Gatwick and Luton flights diverting to Stanstead

Check out DI7018 JFK- Gatwick

Two attempts at Gatwick, seemed to be heading for Stanstead, but now the Norwegian airlines crew seem to be taking everyone home with them!

Maybe it's holding so the Grenoble flight can go in first, that's descending.

Poznan failed to land just then. Let's see how Lyon gets on ( I'm not far away and the gusts are getting worse though)

Looks like some of the Dublin flights are doing their loops further south down the coast rather than just outside Dublin.

Dublin due into Bristol soon but from a totally different direction that the others have arrived from. Do we think this will make a difference?

No. Runway 27 is operational at Bristol just now. The flight from Dublin will come round to approach from the same direction as all the others.
