Been geeking this morning on the number of flights having to go around

Noticed several Gatwick and Luton flights diverting to Stanstead

Check out DI7018 JFK- Gatwick

Two attempts at Gatwick, seemed to be heading for Stanstead, but now the Norwegian airlines crew seem to be taking everyone home with them!

I am whiling away a long and diverted train journey by tracking Flight Radar.
There is a flight from Sao Paulo to Heathrow which is making some very pretty patterns in the sky. Poor passengers!

Aw that's my Sunday afternoon sorted, I love flight radar!!
Although I'm literally going to get nothing productive done now, am I?! Grin
Currently one from South America that keeps trying to land at London, gets within a few thousand feet and then pulls up again.
Think I'll be cheering when it finally lands lol

I think they've diverted the Geneva flight to Lyon. Expect they're planning to put them on the train instead.

Yep, Lyon, feel so sorry for those on board. It feels so frightening when you're going through it and then to end up pretty much where you started.
