Do you have time to talk about our lord and saviour, Jurgen Klopp?

I'm running out of words to describe this liverpool team. I've waited my whole life to see them win the league, and we're going to do it in spectacular fashion. Anyone want to join me? Wine

Nope. Can’t stand the man. Especially after disrespecting the Cup. Hope he gets hammered for that

GhostofFrankGrimes · 02/02/2020 21:41

Amazing man, amazing team.

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 21:43

He's respecting the winter break Hmm

I'm with new, was quite happy for Liverpool to win the league before Klopp disregarded the oldest competition in history. He is a knob.

slippermaiden · 02/02/2020 21:44

I absolutely love him and I so hope we win as my children are hoping to see their amazing team win YNWA

GhostofFrankGrimes · 02/02/2020 21:45

Man utd pulled out the FA cup in 2000. The competition is nostalgia fest. Prem league and champions league more important to bigger teams. Even teams in lower leagues will prioritise their league over FA cup.

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 21:47

Can I ask if you felt the same about United when they dropped out of the fa cup? Or just Liverpool? At least we're still playing in it.

Also, the team that'll face Shrewsbury are the ones who beat Everton's first team so not exactly throwing it.

ginghambox · 02/02/2020 21:50

No thanks, lots of Liverpool supporters around here and they will be unbearable, bad winners.

MiltonRoad · 02/02/2020 21:51

I’d prefer anyone else tbh (except p*rtsmouth) oh and I feel really old now - having looked it up they’ve already won it 11 times in my lifetime

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 21:51

Bad winners Grin

He's a complete bell-end and is thus at an appropriate team.
But he's a good manager and is smashing the league. I think they'll go un-beaten. (But hope they don't).

ddraigygoch · 02/02/2020 21:55

We can not cope in this house.

We are making plans for the potential trophy presentation at Anfield and the tour on the bus.

Which just seems unreal.
But I am also extremely pessimistic at times. While DH is so very convinced it scares me.

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 21:55

We really are hated out there aren't we Grin Grin

I'm enjoying every second of it, like it or not we're all witnessing the greatest team of a generation

ddraigygoch · 02/02/2020 21:56

How has he disrespected the cup? They were promised the winter break. The replays are BS.

Winecheesesleep · 02/02/2020 21:57

He's a great manager and I love seeing a happy positive person in post match interviews rather than the constant moaning you often get. I listened to a really interesting podcast focusing on his leadership style if anyone is interested (you don't have to be a Liverpool fan, it's a work podcast) - it's called Eat Sleep Work Repeat.

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 21:57

@ddraigygoch only after city got beat today did I say it out loud. We only need 6 more wins, and that's if city win all of theirs. This title is ours.

OP posts:
ddraigygoch · 02/02/2020 21:59

I'm so glad there's 15 day break so I can rest my nerves.

It just seems unreal. I can't help but fear injuries, meteor showers 🤨....

Did you see what Pep said in his interview 🙈

Ted27 · 02/02/2020 22:01

I was my son's age in the days of Bob Paisley and Joe Fagin. Its great to see him so excited. I love Jurgen, he has created a proper team, you can see how much everyone wants to win for him and each other.
And I really want to see Makka Salah put another goal away

xTinkerhellx · 02/02/2020 22:06

6 wins out of 13 games.

18 points out of 39.

Am not fucking unclenching until it is mathematically impossible to beat us.

Klopp is amazing. The team is amazing.
I don't give a shit if we don't do the incivibles. If we win this, we will be the Unbearables. And rightly so.

Everyone forgets about Man Utd pulling out of the hallowed FA Cup and forgets that a squad is there for a reason. Why have 25 available players if you're only allowed to pick the same 11?

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 22:06

Oh Pep is obsessed. I don't understand how the FA can be making us play well and everyone else play shite Grin

Ted he is so lovely to watch, you can see the genuine love and respect between him and the players. Did you see the video with Danny Ings after the match yesterday?

OP posts:
xTinkerhellx · 02/02/2020 22:06

Invincibles* obviously. Got a tad over excited.

ddraigygoch · 02/02/2020 22:09

If he does this. If this actually happens I've told DH there will be a statue of him outside Anfield. And I really hope it's on that Hug at the final with Hendo.

DaanSaaf · 02/02/2020 22:12

@xTinkerhellx because it's Liverpool of course Hmm and yes, we'll have earned the right to be unbearable.

I don't think I'm mentally prepared for the hug yet Grin
