Do you have time to talk about our lord and saviour, Jurgen Klopp?

I'm running out of words to describe this liverpool team. I've waited my whole life to see them win the league, and we're going to do it in spectacular fashion. Anyone want to join me? Wine

DH wants to start a petition to get Hendo to call his baby Corner.

🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

My grandsons favourite team.
He will be over the moon if they win

myrtleWilson · 16/02/2020 08:46

Five more wins Grin 🤞

Queenonfleek
How bitter can people be in the face of another’s success?

It easy when you look at the amount of disrespect that is thrown around from fanbase to fanbase.

And even easier when you know that the winners are going to be insufferable in their victory.

Letstalkabout6 · 16/02/2020 10:46

@frapp and why shouldn't they boast? I don't know of any supporter who's team wins a trophy that doesn't. Or is it only Liverpool supporters who are exempt from this?

FrippEnos · 16/02/2020 11:16

@Letstalkabout6

I haven't singled out liverpool supporters, from experience there is a large groups of supporters like this in every teams fanbase.

But there is celebrating and there is being a dick.

Letstalkabout6 · 16/02/2020 11:25

@fripp

As this is a thread about Jurgen Klopp so essentially Liverpool Football Club I would disagree.

FrippEnos · 16/02/2020 12:14

@Letstalkabout6

Its an open forum so we are all allowed our opinions.

But I challenge you to find where I have specifically said it was just about liverpool fans on the two posts (3 with this one).

But feel free to imply anything that you like

Who was this about?

As I've said it's a Liverpool thread so yes they will win the premiership breaking all sorts of records and yes they'll celebrate to the full. As it should be. Who could possibly deny them that?

Whattheother2catsprefer · 16/02/2020 12:40

I can think of a few set of supporters who would be absolutely gloating and crowing if they were in this situation. I'm not seeing that from the Liverpool fans on this thread, in fact they are refusing to acknowledge that the title is won. I'm not a Liverpool supporter but it was the Liverpool of the late 70s early 80s that made me a football fan and I don't begrudge them the return of that sparkle. If nothing else Sir Kenny's face when Liverpool are champions once more will be a lovely sight.

FrippEnos · 16/02/2020 12:46

@Letstalkabout6

That would be about some of the fans from every team that has ever won. Its called a general statement.

Or have you not seen it from fans of other clubs?

myrtleWilson · 21/02/2020 13:41

Can we get a 👏🙌 for Herr Klopp's letter to the young Man Utd fan?

lavenderhidcote · 21/02/2020 14:28

Definitely. Listened to the young lad being interviewed on 5Live, he was brilliant and Jurgen's letter was great.

Jjou · 21/02/2020 14:41

It was a lovely letter. Cue loads of misery guts on SM going "he didn't really write it you know, they just stuck his signature on it." Meh.

myrtleWilson · 21/02/2020 14:52

The thing is though that even if he didn't write it, it is in his voice - you can imagine him reading/saying it - especially the first line!. Having written many a speech for others in my life it does show how 'embedded' his philosophy/style of leadership is for it to come through in someone else's writing.

Jjou · 21/02/2020 15:33

I choose to believe he did write it Grin it sounds very Klopp to me.

ginrummy1 · 24/02/2020 22:03

Gary Neville won that for us tonight. He should really learn to stay quiet on twitter until the final whistle has blown 😂

myrtleWilson · 24/02/2020 22:13

PHEW!!!!

4 more wins (hopefully!)

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 24/02/2020 22:15

I'm just happy that despite all the records Liverpool will break this season...Chelsea's record of 15 goals conceded in a season will still there. Something we have still at least lol

Redshoeblueshoe · 24/02/2020 22:20

Well my heart rate went right up tonight.
Loved the letter to the United fan ❤️

IamaBluebird · 24/02/2020 22:29

Thought the letter to the little Manchester United lad was great. It must be a brilliant time to be a Liverpool supporter.
Still makes me laugh to hear people who live in my City calling themselves Scousers though.

SwedishEdith · 14/03/2020 13:47

Have we discussed his, yet another, word perfect letter? I'm not sure if he writes them but, whoever does, captures his "voice" perfectly - "in this moment".

Oblomov20 · 14/03/2020 13:59

Football season cancelled? Does that mean Liverpool get 'given' the trophy?

How do they decide the top 4? Who goes through to the champions league next season?

Spurs here. We've been pitiful, and I doubted we'd get 4th. But who will?

RJnomore1 · 14/03/2020 14:08

I thought this letter was outstanding as well.

A giant among men.
