I’m a chelsea fan but really really like Liverpool to the point where I’ve prayed they win every match, I so want them to win and after coming so frigging close and only losing because Man City won thier last game on a technicality. I know Chelsea won’t win so defo rooting for Liverpool. They are literally on fire and I love watching them and love firmino 😍

I'm not a fan of Liverpool or any other League team, I follow a tinpot non-league side but I think Klippity is a breath of fresh air. He comes across as a thoroughly decent chap.

I'm not a football fan really but watch some of the Liverpool games as DH and DS are huge fans. They are so excited at the prospect of winning the league. I am hugely entertained by the constant 'cheating' accusations aimed at them especially with VAR. It is hilarious to see (mostly) grown men behaving like toddlers about it. And absolutely at the disrespecting the cup comments.

And if they do win, they have a right to be unbearable. Man City last year won by one point (I think?) and you never heard the end of how fantastic they were.

And given a choice between Klopp, Pep and Mourinho etc. I'd say Klopp's a good guy and his team certainly love him.

I once read a quote, years ago, that Shankly took second division players, told them they were the standard of first division players, made them believe it and then they went out and played like first division players (before the days of the Premiership and the Championship).

That is, imo, what Klopp has done. I wish I could remember the source, but I saw something where the back three of the opposing team cost more than the team we fielded - and it was a game where the experienced stars played, not the youngsters. It's not just about the skills, but the belief and the joy in the football.

And to add, most of the team seem to be decent people. I mean, you can never know what's behind the scenes and I don't know any of them irl, but on the whole I wouldn't be scared to be stuck in a lift with them.

It’ll be hilarious if they officially win the league at Everton. Would be the first time that anything has been won at Goodison in living memory 😂

March is a busy month now, squeezing in the Chelsea game two days before Bournemouth isn’t ideal. Will be interesting to see Klopp’s approach to the next round. I understood how he wanted to respect the winter break but I think it’s 5th round now against a big team so I’d like to see him take this seriously!

He said last night that some of the youth may be included against Chelsea, so he’s obviously back to regular service by the sound of it.

@Duvetdweller did you see that Milly had also trained with them? Neil Critchley said he’d called him and asked to be involved with the coaching and training. So that bodes well too.

Not only has Klopp got the here and now, but with the contract extension and the youth and the new training ground, it’s all power to the future too.

When I think of how we were fixed before Rogers and even better, Klopp , I could burst with sheer joy 😀

That’s good to hear then. No reason why we can’t compete for the treble if we carry on playing this well, especially if we get the league sewn up early! Not to mention the super cup and club World Cup already in the bag!
