A mansion - all those wasted unloved rooms.
Foie gras. Cruel.
Veal - again cruel.
Wear emeralds- supposedly unlucky and I don't want to chance it. Of two people I know who had emerald engagement rings both had traumatic life experiences. I know some posters will come down on me like a ton of bricks but that has been my experience.
Drive a green car - my superstitious parents passed that on to me. Smile

milliefiori · 03/02/2020 10:16

oh yes definitely not a personalised number plate. I see those and think: what's the problem - you can't remember your own 3-letter name?

BikeRunSki · 03/02/2020 14:25

DM asked me recently if I wanted laser surgery for my decade birthday later this year. I said no. Don’t want lasers in my eyes and I’d still need reading glasses, which I would lose constantly if they were it always on the end of my nose.

LadyEloise · 09/05/2020 08:16

BikeRunSki
I had eye laser surgery- done in a hospital by a top eye surgeon. He did both eyes slightly differently so I won't need glasses for reading.

Agree with skipping the fancy car. No helicopters either. Thats about it though. God I'd enjoy that money!!

Thisbastardcomputer · 09/05/2020 08:43

A soft top spots car, fucking horrendous

RingaRosie · 09/05/2020 08:49

That TV show, a while ago, where the guy was building the world’s biggest mansion, and they ran out of money as the recession hit. It was an eye-opener...
A big house is just a series of rooms, full of expensive crap. None of them were happy. I prefer my small but perfectly formed home. With my few ordinary things.

pointyshoes · 09/05/2020 09:13

Another one for personalised number plates. Why on earth would you.

TheClitterati · 09/05/2020 09:45

Nothing could ever get me to buy the environmental disaster that is the Nespresso.

Couch25k · 09/05/2020 12:00

I was reading through thinking anytime now and yes bang! There they are....

I love my private plate on my Red Shiny Audi. I'm not going to justify it I love it and worked hard to buy both and it makes me smile.

Each to their own pWink

Desiringonlychild · 09/05/2020 12:04

Apple stuff
Huge house ( I don't need it as I am planning for an only child,my dream is a 3 bed flat in Kensington)
TV licence
TV
Facials/manicures,/spa

The80sweregreat · 09/05/2020 12:06

Expensive perfume. Waste of money!
Posh clothes as they would still look rank on me.
A rice cooker or ice cream maker.

Thelnebriati · 09/05/2020 12:09

Anything gold, or a boat.

Dialdownthedrama · 09/05/2020 12:17

Sports cars. Handbags costing thousands of pounds. If I had a million, I wouldn't spend thousands on a bag.

rosiethehen · 09/05/2020 12:19

A fancy car
Designer clothing
Expensive watch or jewellery
Designer shoes
Perfume
Designer handbags

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 09/05/2020 12:29

Designer stuff like clothes, handbags, shoes etc just for the sake of it. I'd buy good quality stuff I liked, but not focused on label.

Andahelterskelterroundmylittle · 09/05/2020 12:39

Super sporty car
Designer handbags
Designer clothes
A boat!
Expensive watch

Athrawes · 09/05/2020 12:44

Cleaning wipes

The80sweregreat · 09/05/2020 12:46

Boats are a waste of money! I knew some people who co owned a small one , but the novelty wore off after a year.
Ditto caravans! 'Big toys ' cost loads to upkeep as well.
A huge house as it would be a pain to keep clean and tidy.

Holothane · 09/05/2020 13:06

I adore rose gold obsessed with the colour but pandora is as high as I go price wise What is the point of a bag over 150, I had a gorgeous bag from years ago, cost £100 loved it but it got left behind in divorce, .

Borntobeamum · 09/05/2020 13:11

Caviar 🤮

Oneearringlost · 09/05/2020 13:33

A subscription to the Tory Party

AgeLikeWine · 09/05/2020 13:44

A boat. I can’t swim, I get seasick very easily and they are notorious money pits.

‘Designer’ branded leisurewear. I once saw a plain T-shirt with a large Gucci logo on the front in Selfridges. It was very tacky indeed and the price was £300. I remember thinking that no matter how rich I was I would never, ever spend anything like that amount on a t-shirt.

riotlady · 09/05/2020 14:08

Another one for sports car here.

I think lots of things hit a point where increasing price doesn’t change the quality a lot. Like I can taste the difference between a £5 and a £15 bottle of wine most of the time but I reckon £100 and £200 bottle aren’t any different quality wise

CorianderLord · 09/05/2020 14:24

Anything to do with guns or exotic pets. Everything else is fair game, if I've got the money I'll buy what I want no holds barred
