New thread for a new year!

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

B: smoked salmon, boiled egg, 2 x buttered ryvita & berries.
Coffee & a ginger tea.
L: Slice ham, cheddar, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, mange tout, plum chutney.
D: Black bean spaghetti & quorn bolognese.
Snack: 3 x Nairns oat & chocolate biscuits
2 x glasses red

Awkward Squad we're all good today thanks. Your dinner sounds insanely good!

Today's been much better food wise after yesterday was devoid of any nutritional value 😂
B: natural yoghurt with grated apple, blackberries, raspberries & almonds; slice of toast with peanut butter; tea
L: ham, pepper & tomato omelette with a very green salad; banana; orange; small piece of chocolate loaf cake; coffee
D: spaghetti Bolognese with tenderstem broccoli and garlic bread; glass of red wine

Might have another small glass with cheese and crackers.

I'm trying to watch my calorie intake at the mo, but that's all gone out of the window today as feeling premenstual 😬

B - muesli and small slice seeded toast
S - couple of Lindt chocolates
L - salad leaves, falafels, houmous and a piece of sourdough bread
D - Thai red curry with tofu, lots of veg and rice
S - chocolate mousse and a couple of glasses of white wine.

B: granola, mixed berries from frozen, yogurt. Toast and Marmite, black coffee.
Later: cappuccino, half a pain au chocolat.
L: ham roll, a few taralli with hummus, tea. Half a tangerine.
Teatime: tea, brownie.
Supper: linguine bolognese, parmesan, lettuce, red wine. Chocolate.

B-kedgeree (rice,eggs,mackerel, lots of spices)
L-spaghetti hoops, pizza made with herby baked oats,30g low fat cheese,ham,onion and oil free tomato purée
T-cowboy stew using low fat sausages,baked,onion,spices and assorted beans
Will also have baked apple with 1.5 level tablespoons of mincemeat

Breakfast was two chocolate chip pancakes (Damn going to do the food shopping when I was hungry this morning!). Lunch was slightly better: two ham rolls and just had dinner of a sushi rice and chicken bowl

Banana and 2 slices of toast. Popcorn and tea for a snack. Wagamamas for lunch treat. Veg soup and bread will be dinner. A few biscuits too

B - bacon sandwich, orange juice and coffee
L - crisps, apple and shared a cheese toastie with DH & another coffee
D - toad in the hole, broccoli, kale and gravy followed by yogurt with blueberries or raspberries

Will have a cup of tea later and maybe a few biscuits

B - muesli, flaxseed, kiwi, yoghurt, pomegranate seeds
A couple of mini eggs and a packet of those Bear fruit
L - walnut bread sandwich, half cheddar and onion marmalade, half philly and beetroot chutney, rocket, tiny bit leftover potato salad, a pear
A few more mini eggs and some grapes
D - butternut squash falafel, labneh, zhoug, tapenade, rocket, cucumber, red pepper and a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds; beetroot brownie and vanilla ice cream

D: chicken Coconut curry with rice

Going to have some yoghurt or a hot chocolate soon. Lots of tea and coffee to drink throughout the day, need to drink more water!

B: fruit and fibre, toast and Marmite, black coffee.
L: ham sandwich, some dried apricots and prunes (we were out on a walk).
Teatime: tea and huge slice of lemon drizzle cake.
Supper: monkfish, chorizo and mushrooms, spinach, red wine. A few mixed berries with yogurt and a sprinkling of granola - thank goodness we've run out of chocolate or it would have been that.
2am today: tea, toast and Marmite.

Homemade oat bar
A portion of chips and beans (only thing vegan in work canteen)
Making west Africans peanut stew with rice, and having some sweetcorn and mange tout on the side
A slice of olive bread while waiting for it to cook

L - butternut squash falafels, spoonful each of labneh and tapenade, baby kale leaves
Cinnamon twirl, grapes, crackers
D - lentil bolognese, wholewheat linguine, cheddar
A few squares of chocolate

A bit indulgent today but I’m sort of on holiday.
