New thread for a new year!

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

Let’s include some recipe-sharing in this thread Smile

Just seen this! We started the Joe Wickes plan today so I've had yoghurt blueberries and oats for breakfast, beef mince with butternut squash for lunch and turkey mince and noodle stir fry for dinner. DH has had exactly the same and may want something sweet later(I've told him that while I'm happy to take care of the three main meals, anything else he consumes is up to him). Am hoping to start C25K this week as well as at least two bootcamp sessions that I regularly do. Fingers crossed the weight starts to come off soon to improve our chances as we are ttc for DC2

Breakfast was a slice of wholemeal toast with marmalade and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Lunch was out as it's my mum's birthday. We had a sharing platter of cold meats, bread, pate, etc and added some grilled prawns and mussels. A coffee plus a mini toffee waffle.

Dinner will be a big frittata with onions, bacon and veg, with a side salad.

B: porridge with maple syrup, toast and marmite, black coffee.
L: scrambled eggs on toast, tea.
Another cup of tea later.
Supper: same as previous night (curries etc.) - all leftovers.
@AwkwardSquad it certainly is rare to eat a perfectly ripe pear. The last one I had was so nasty, it's almost put me off eating them at all. Have you perfected the yogurt cake yet?

Bridget yes! Well, nearly. The bundt tin worked but I left it in a couple of minutes too long as I wanted to be sure it was done, so it’s a tiny bit dry. Honour is satisfied, though!
