A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

Some lovely meals on here . I know where to come for inspiration!
I've had cereal and coffee for breakfast, noodles and a poached egg at lunch and dinner was pork and apple chunks with boiled potatoes followed by choc cake and custard.

2 vegan banana nut breakfast cookies
Lots of espresso with milk
A few squares 85% chocolate
Chicken and veg Asian dish in caramel soy sauce (no rice)
Broccoli, red bell pepper, and sweet potato stir fry with peanut sauce

B- multigrain porridge made with almond milk
S- two plums
L- itsu katsu instant noodle pot (stuck in a rut!)
S- popchips
D- heck chicken Italia burger in a wholemeal roll with a big side salad
S- apple and cinnamon hot cross bun with butter, a vanilla skyr yoghurt and a banana

2 x enormous mugs of strong tea with semi skimmed milk.

Small roast beef sandwich, 3 small gherkins, 5 ritz crackers with cheddar cheese spread.

3 sausages, baked potato, steamed broccoli, leeks and peas, sweetcorn, onion gravy.

2 large glasses Pinot.

Annoyingly small helping of left over curry

Some pita chips and hummus before my run (8 miles)

Sundried tomato risotto, with a slice of garlic bread and big helping of tenderstem broccoli

Am feeling much better today! Think bootcamp must have blasted the infection away!
Have had oats blueberries and yoghurt and yoghurt for breakfast and chicken pesto chicken for lunch (also had a couple of slices of bread and butter because I am starving!!!). Dinner will be home made chicken schnitzel (made with chicken thigh not breast as that's how I prefer it) and cous cous/bulgur wheat - whichever I put my hand in first I'm the cupboard.

Yesterday:
B: muesli with banana, raspberries & blueberries
S: chocolate biscuit and cup of tea at baby group
L: tuna mayo wrap & salad. An orange. Slice of Victoria Sponge
D: chicken & vegetable traybake thing, baked apples with ice cream

Today (got told off my the nurse at asthma clinic as my BMI is nearly in the underweight category :( I'm finding it difficult to gain)
B: porridge with banana and chopped walnuts
L: leek & potato soup, crackers with cheese & chutney, olives and pistachios.
S: yoghurt and a coffee
D: spaghetti and meatballs, tenderstem broccoli, garlic bread
Also had some Lindt balls

Will probably have a hot chocolate later

Slice of leftover sloppy Giuseppe pizza
Big bowl of broccoli and potato stir fry with peanut sauce
Will have a nonalcoholic beer later

2 weetabix with chopped banana and a mug of tea
Coffee and a pretend kit kat at 11ish
Lunch was a corned beef, salad sandwich plus some tinned fruit and some crisps
More tea mid afternoon
Tonight’s dinner was chicken, spinach and cauliflower curry and rice
Have just got into bed for an early night with a very milky coffee.

B - porridge with raisins and syrup
L - jacket potato, salad, tuna mayo, cheese, coleslaw. An apple
D - tomato and sweet potato fake meatballs in a wrap with salad; roasted pepper, goats cheese and pine nut salad.

Snacks - lots! (parents evening night) penguin bar, raisins, dried apricot and almonds, granola slice.

Just about to have a coffee and a biscuit, probably.

A very low carb snack bar.

Some smoked mackerel pate/dip with cucumber and red pepper sticks.

A small handful of blueberries

A few small cubes of cheese

A Chinese style stir fry dish of pork mince, green beans and spring onions. No rice.

2 glasses of sugar free squash

Yesterday I had:

Coffee and cinnamon crunch cereal.
Salt and vinegar pringles.
Homemade bread with butter.
Home-made cottage pie with cheesy mash.
2 x raspberry pepsi.

Oats etc for breakfast and cheesy chicken pesto for lunch. Dinner will be Korean chicken stir fry and noodles with maybe some ice cream and raspberry sauce later once DS is in bed asleep.

@bellacucina do you make the banana nut cookies.

Just posting on this thread for the first time. I have recently radically overhauled my diet and it's going well so far.

Breakfast: Smoothie with canned coconut milk and fresh coconut milk, one avocado and one banana.
Lunch: one banana, one clementine, packet of raw chocolate buttons. This was not enough but I was out and didnt have anything else available to eat.
Dinner: chicken mini fillets shallow fried in goose fat, leeks and asparagus roasted in oven with nutritional yeast and garlic salt, sweet potato mash and mixed veg including rainbow carrots.
Snacks: So far just a few dates.

Coffee and tea
Shake (alpro coconut, peanut butter, alpro Greek yoghurt, frozen cherries, chocolate protein powder),
slice of brown sourdough with leftover chicken and chutney,
JO chickpea, sweet potato, spinach curry with brown basmati rice.

B - porridge, blueberries, Demerara sugar
L - roasted peppers, goats cheese, pinenuts with salad and assorted leftover bits - some tuna sweet corn mayo, grated cheddar.
D - sausages, colcannon, red cabbage...not ready yet but I'm starving!

S - apple, banana, small tub of raisins, dried apricots, almonds and Brazil nuts.
