Loads of espresso with milk
Half a multigrain roll with blueberry almond butter
Couple squares 85% chocolate
A fresh date
Carrots with hummus
The other half of my chicken and veg broth with some crackers
A fancy chocolate with an oat milk latte (accidentally went into a vegan cafe and I couldn't be bothered to leave - but the oat milk was better than expected)
Smoked salmon pasta
Some purple grapes
Large glass white wine

AwkwardSquad · 09/02/2020 05:04

dellacucina, I’ve found I really like oat milk, it’s much nicer than nut milks. And apparently it’s the most environmentally friendly option. Our local vegan shop makes a great oat milk turmeric latte!

Oat milk is my favourite too.

AwkwardSquad · 09/02/2020 19:05

Hope everyone is ok in this ahem bracing weather! Hunkered down at home and enjoyed a bit of cooking.

L - spicy tofu scramble with various salad bits
D - chestnut roast with peas, beetroot and spring greens
Also some cinnamon chocolate, a pistachio macaroon, a slice of walnut bread and a pear. Pretty sure I’ll manage another macaroon.

RockyisMYRhino · 09/02/2020 20:19

I had two slices of toast and butter made for me this morning. Then the three of us were supposed to be meeting DHs best mate and his wife for lunch but they cancelled due to the weather. We still went though as the pub is very local to us and I had chicken wings to start, roast lamb rump with all the trimmings and apple and blackberry crumble for pud. Probably won't eat again until tomorrow now! I have also prepped lunch for me and DH for the next few days to get ahead of myself a bit as I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with another sinus infection Hmm

PlomBear · 09/02/2020 20:28

dellacucina · 09/02/2020 21:02

ps I have nothing against veganism as a concept, but I really, really like real dairy in my coffee! In fact, I would intentionally go to a vegan restaurant, and have many times.

RockyisMYRhino · 10/02/2020 15:09

Just a banana for breakfast today. Sausage casserole for lunch and beef stew and rice for dinner later. I'm putting any energy I can muster into playing with DS and keeping him happy while I feel like my head is going to fall off my shoulders every time I lean forward Sad
