New thread for a new year!

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

Let’s include some recipe-sharing in this thread Smile

Usual oats, blueberries and yoghurt for breakfast then Parmesan and pesto chicken for lunch. Going to make baked sausage risotto for dinner in a bit - fingers crossed it goes better than the last one I attempted!

AwkwardSquad · 24/01/2020 18:03

Hope Rocky and Nutella are both feeling better today!

Yesterday was a bit weird so I’ll move swiftly on to today.

B - nothing
Large rock bun with a cup of tea while travelling
L - avocado, portobello mushroom, haloumi and poached eggs on sourdough toast with harissa beans
Three cheese straws and a few olives
D - quinoa, pulses and spinach with tenderstem broccoli and smoked tofu
Some fruit in a bit

OP posts:
Nuttyaboutnutella · 24/01/2020 19:06

B: small bowl of shreddies, toast with peanut butter, tea
L: ham and cheese toasted wrap, snack peppers stuffed with cream cheese, pistachios, coffee
S: coffee and homemade banana bread
D: one of those filled pastas (mushroom and truffle) with parmesan and chilli oil.

Will either have a hot chocolate, or some chocolate and a glass of wine if my daughter decides to go to sleep anytime soon! She's currently full of bean, babbling away and rocking an all fours in her cot 😂

Ham sandwich for lunch and I'm going to make Korean noodles for dinner before prepping lunch for me and DH for the next few days
