DD 14 drink spiked

I am at work tonight. Unbeknown to me, daughter and friends snuck out to a party. Looks like my daughter was either spiked or drunk too much.

She is fine, going in the ambulance to hospital. What will they do? I feel so helpless. Husband in bed and can’t wake him.

Suitable punishment? Only child who has hot teenager age yet and it’s so unknown. I just don’t know what to do

Glad your dd is ok and honestly can't believe some of the sanctimonious posts on here.
Teens push boundries now and again, and even the usually sensible ones do really stupid things. Two of mine managed to get themselves blind drunk and incapable at about that age, both lived to tell the tale (and were grounded for a while) and both are very sensible young adults now! (in fact the worst offender didn't bother going out last night , choosing to pick up an extra nursing shift instead!)

Hopefully she will be feeling rotten today, and you can get some rest.

@eveshopper yes we would because the law regarding safeguarding of children dictates that. It could even mean support is given under the circumstances to help OP, not all involve removing kids for neglect etc. I do not make the rules I simply follow them.

Hi @Holdingtherope I work in an ED, and I just said in the post above that SS would offer support to help you. You are clearly trying your best to put a roof over your head and looking after your family. Your DD will not be the first or last to come in to ED drunk, all part of growing up! Hope you get the support and help you need, your DD won't be in a hurry to do this again! Happy New Year 💕
