I know there are plenty of threads on voting intentions but it makes me wonder how many of those people actually end up voting. So to those who have and don’t mind sharing ..who did you vote for and why?

I haven’t actually voted yet but I will be doing so this evening after work.

Labour in a Labour /Tory marginal.

iamtinkabella · 12/12/2019 20:16

@CrazySpanielLover i shudder at the thought of Boris the nonce

OrangeTwirl · 12/12/2019 20:18

TheDevilsPedicure...Dont worry, Corbyn will shake his magic money tree and the world will be a wonderful place.... 😉

TheDevilsPedicure · 12/12/2019 20:24

Lmao @ magic money tree, cos of course Boris isn't promising to splash the cash right now at all is he?

Unless you are basically saying that there is no magic money tree? And then what, Boris is a fucking liar? Yeah. Exactly.

DeadDoorpost · 12/12/2019 20:36

Labour as a tactical. Usually I'd vote for them anyway but really starting to focus on climate change so have been leaking towards green for a while (voted green in EU elections)

CloudyVanilla · 12/12/2019 20:37

Labour in a seat that is currently conservative but only marginally so.

Hoping at least at a local level there will be some change, although I'm not hopeful that we will actually have any difference - will we ever? :(

gothefcktosleep · 12/12/2019 20:38

Voted Labour in the end. Tactical vote. Let’s hope it works, otherwise I would have voted for our lovely green candidate.

stoplickingthetelly · 12/12/2019 20:45

Labour. My area is usually Labour, but couldn’t risk the Tories getting in so voted Labour.

maggienolia · 12/12/2019 20:47

Lib Dem here.
Our ex Tory MP was rarely even seen locally, ended up changing parties twice and did very little overall. Won't miss her at all.
I was the only one in our polling station.

Andahelterskelterroundmylittle · 12/12/2019 20:49

SNP

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 12/12/2019 20:50

Labour but our area is usually Lib Dem.

Moomin8 · 12/12/2019 20:51

Labour. Tactical vote - swing seat here with narrow Tory majority.

PointlessUsername · 12/12/2019 20:52

Conservative

Lalalalalalalalaland · 12/12/2019 20:57

Me and DP were both off today and went around 11am to vote labour, our local polling station was very busy.

We have never voted before, both been very apathetic towards politics but this time round we've been watching all the debates and read all the manifestos so I'm praying more people like us have gone out to vote today.

Blaziken · 12/12/2019 21:00

Lib Dem

polkadotpixie · 12/12/2019 21:01

Labour

I've always voted Labour and whilst I'm not a massive fan of Jeremy Corbyn's policies, I do think his intentions are honourable, unlike that self serving twat Boris

I considered Lib Dems too but I thought Labour had a better chance in my safe Tory seat so I went with them, so did DH

I work for the NHS, I see every day what a dire state we're in, I hope Labour can change that

upaladderagain · 12/12/2019 21:07

I shut my eyes and jabbed randomly at the voting slip. In over 100 years there have been only 4 when my constituency didn't return the Conservative candidate so I don't think it'll make any difference.

foxyknoxy30 · 12/12/2019 21:11

Jo swinson

Holymolymackerel · 12/12/2019 21:14

Labour

shinynewapplesonachristmastree · 12/12/2019 21:23

Lib Dem

TrixyaMattelodchikova · 12/12/2019 21:24

2 labour votes here 🌹 in a very safe Labour seat with an excellent MP.

I feel sick thinking about the results.

Cattenberg · 12/12/2019 21:28

Lib Dem. Apparently, there were queues outside our local polling station when it opened, but it was pretty quiet for the rest of the morning. I hope that lots of young adults have voted, because they’ll be affected the most by what happens next.

Daisychainsandglitter · 12/12/2019 21:33

Labour

Bluebellbike · 12/12/2019 21:33

Libdem. Not because I want them in. Tactical vote in a very marginal seat

OrangeTwirl · 12/12/2019 21:36

Unless you are basically saying that there is no magic money tree? And then what, Boris is a fucking liar? Yeah. Exactly
