So...who did you vote for?

I know there are plenty of threads on voting intentions but it makes me wonder how many of those people actually end up voting. So to those who have and don’t mind sharing ..who did you vote for and why?

I haven’t actually voted yet but I will be doing so this evening after work.

Labour, voted half an hour ago. My polling station was empty.

tigerbear · 12/12/2019 09:25

Lib Dem

nearlyfinished1moreyear · 12/12/2019 09:26

Lib Dem

SilverySurfer · 12/12/2019 09:29

I will be voting Conservative very shortly.

YessicaHaircut · 12/12/2019 09:30

Labour. We’re in a Labour area but the Tories aren’t that far behind so voted to hopefully keep them out. Saw a fair few people at the polling station at 7.30am in grim weather which was quite cheering.

Skyejuly · 12/12/2019 09:31

Labour for me and hubby.

Safe tory are though. That's a given.

Buddywoo · 12/12/2019 09:34

I voted for the LD's and used my husband's proxy vote to the same. We are a very safe Tory seat. If it had been marginal I would have voted Labour.

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 12/12/2019 09:36

Labour

Butterfly02 · 12/12/2019 09:36

I did a couple of those sites where they ask you questions and show you best match for you. I struggled as all parties seem to have issues which I strongly disagreed with so it came down to what's important in my life now and will be in the next few years for me and my family - nhs, education, disability policy and looked at those issues. Never have I found it so hard to vote.

Lightsabre · 12/12/2019 09:39

Labour in a traditionally safe Tory seat - a protest vote really. Quite busy at 7.40.

ajandjjmum · 12/12/2019 09:44

Tory.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 12/12/2019 09:56

Green because the candidate supports women's rights. Safe Labour seat so won't affect result.

whatnow40 · 12/12/2019 10:00

Labour - our local candidate has majority of about 22k anyway and she has a really good voting record in terms of equality, welfare, education and family. I've made appointments to meet with her and she has taken action on my issues before. I also understand that she is not liked by momentum and doesn't automatically tow the party line for whatever JC says. I've had to based my vote on local effectiveness, as otherwise I am politically homeless at a National level.

nutellalove · 12/12/2019 10:25

Conservative

LochJessMonster · 12/12/2019 10:27

Conservative.
Fairly busy in my polling station too which was encouraging.

courderoy · 12/12/2019 10:29

Labour. Public spending needs to increase dramatically that means paying more tax.

FurForksSake · 12/12/2019 10:31

Labour, it was very close in 2017. I usually vote Lib Dem or Green but I want the conservatives out.

ItWentInMyEye · 12/12/2019 10:33

Labour, my polling station had people constantly leaving and arriving while I was there Smile

Cherylshaw · 12/12/2019 10:33

SNP, struggled to decide between labour and SNP but that's who I decided on this morning.

GooodMythicalMorning · 12/12/2019 10:34

Labour

GladAllOver · 12/12/2019 10:37

I was going to vote Libdem.
Until Jo Swinson came out with that bollocks about self I'D.
So now it's "None of the above". I won't be voting.

CrazySpanielLover · 12/12/2019 10:38

Conservative.
Corbyn, Abbot and McDonnell

TheTruthAboutLove · 12/12/2019 10:40

Labour. I was there at 7.30am this morning, no queue or anything which was great.

BalsamicVin · 12/12/2019 10:42

Labour

My polling station only had 2 of us in, but saw a few more arriving as I was leaving

PinkHairD0ntCare · 12/12/2019 10:45

Lib Dem, polling station very busy
