Only 7 point lead for Boris in latest poll. Still all to play for.

I do not lie and neither does Boris.

Fact:

Parliament did not block Johnson's withdrawal bill.

It got through its 2nd Reading in Parliament.

You said it was blocked by Parliament.
You lied.

PigletJohn · 01/12/2019 22:03

yappy

you say boris doesn't lie?

that's a joke, surely?

chomalungma · 01/12/2019 22:03

Here you go:

brexitcentral.com/mps-back-johnsons-brexit-deal-at-second-reading-but-defeat-programme-motion-how-every-mp-voted/

They backed the 2nd reading. The decision to withdrawal the bill was made by the Government.

thehorseandhisboy · 01/12/2019 22:07

The polls were all over the place in 2017, although the exit poll done on election day was pretty much spot on.

Deathgrip · 01/12/2019 22:15

I do not lie and neither does Boris.

Now I know this is a piss take.

Saying you want to leave “at any cost” was a bit of a giveaway too.

3/10

Frequency · 02/12/2019 00:31

I do not lie and neither does Boris.

He literally stood in front of a bus that promised 350 million a week to the NHS if we left the EU. A promise that Leave reneged on the same day the results came in.

I'm beginning to think you're taking the piss.

noblegiraffe · 02/12/2019 00:58

I do not lie and neither does Boris.

‘No press here’ he said to the guy in the hospital in front of the reporters who recorded the whole thing.

Topseyt · 02/12/2019 02:46

I do not lie and neither does Boris

Now I know you are simply on a piss-take here. Boris is the biggest fucking liar of the lot of them. Don't expect anyone to take this thread seriously now.

Is your name Dominic Cummings? Boris is his puppet isn't he?

OceanVillage · 02/12/2019 03:25

Boris doesn't lie 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Yappy12 · 02/12/2019 20:23

Cummings no longer works for Boris. He has stepped down in order to have a major operation soon.

OP posts:
PigletJohn · 02/12/2019 22:09

do you say that because you've heard the rumour, or do you have verifiable evidence?

Yappy12 · 04/12/2019 16:24

I read it in several newspapers so must be true.

Nessaofbarry · 04/12/2019 16:25

The narrowest margin I’ve seen is a 7 point lead. I’ve seen way more with better figures- the highest being 12 or 13 points

Yappy12 · 04/12/2019 16:29

One poll has a 6 point lead today, in to possible hung parliament territory. Another today has a 15 point Tory lead though!

They had McDonell on Womans’ Hour today, what a nasty lying piece of work.

noblegiraffe · 04/12/2019 16:45

Cummings is still working. He only resigned from the adviser role to get out of being in purdah.

QuellyO · 04/12/2019 16:49

We all need to look at our own constituencies and what's best to do there. Because it isn't just about two parties.

Getvoting.org
Remainunited.org

These are both good. The second one shows their polling result for each constituency, so gives us an idea what might happen.

PigletJohn · 04/12/2019 17:39

@yappy12

"Cummings no longer works for Boris. He has stepped down in order to have a major operation soon."

You'll be wanting to withdraw that claim, then.

PigletJohn · 04/12/2019 17:41

FT

Cummings makes surprise appearance at Nato summit

Dominic Cummings, formerly a key adviser to Boris Johnson, was seen at Boris Johnson's press conference at today's Nato summit, standing alongside Downing Street communications director Lee Cain.

His appearance is surprising, writes James Blitz, the FT's Whitehall editor.

Before the election was called, he was a special adviser to the prime minister with a formal government role.

Once parliament is dissolved, however, Whitehall rules dictate that special advisers can no longer attend official government events and are restricted to working as party officials on campaign business."

We don't need a second referendum. We've had one. You don't re-run an election just because you don't like the result do you?

If it's truly the will of the people, then Leave will just win again, no?

WeshMaGueule · 04/12/2019 21:11

Why the fuck do we even still have the FPTP system

Because no-one could be arsed to vote against it in the LibDem referendum on AV.

Yappy referendums have been overturned before. Shit happens.

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 04/12/2019 21:16

I hope the gap keeps closing until Boris becomes unemployed personally.

Yappy12 · 04/12/2019 23:41

The country needs Boris to continue as PM. He'll GET BREXIT DONE. Do you know it's oven-ready to go?
