Not done one of these for a while, but I always really enjoy hearing about people's clothes (especially the bargains and the amazingly expensive things some people get the chance to wear).
Today I am wearing a pair of boyfriend jeans (Next) that were £5 from the chazza as well as a long sleeved rust-coloured t-shirt with small paisley type print on it (M&S) that was £3 also from chazza. Over this I have a thin navy sweater (H&M) also £3. Socks were cheapo pack of three (£6)(emergency purchase on camping trip when my feet were very cold). M & S pants (6 pack for £12) and an M & S bra from the sale (£8). My shoes are very chunky brown leather lace-ups, brand I've not heard of before (Fun & co !!) that look like 'Art' brand, also chazza for around £7.
I work for myself from home and have three children who are getting under my feet in half term.
Over to you lot.

. On hols. Been at the pool and just going to have a shower in a bit, this was all closest to hand.
It is certainly a look I didnt curate

Today I'm wearing the exact same thing, except a mustard yellow J Crew wool coat instead of a rain jacket. It was 260 USD in the sales last year. Also, black leather gloves from M&S. I think they were £29 last year.

Mominatrix · 25/10/2019 10:21

Going for a long trek with the dog so dressed very casually:

Notify skinny khaki cargos (purchased for about £200 10 years ago)
Heat tech scoop neck tee (£10 ish)
Uniqlo cream coloured roll neck cashmere jumper (£80ish)
Belstaff biker jacket with rabbit trim (£600 or so purchased 8 years ago)
Celtic sheepskin lined wellies (200ish purchased 12 years ago)

BiddyPop · 25/10/2019 10:36

Ugg leather (not suede) boots - approx. €120 3 winters ago
Skinny navy jeans - Lands End - probably €65 2 years ago
M&S navy vest - €11 at least 2 winters ago
Polo RL navy cable knit v neck sweater - €75 in an outlet 6 years ago

And as all have been worn umpteen times, they are probably all heading towards the "under €1 per wear" range - boots are probably still the most expensive per wear as I had a more favourite pair that died about 2 months ago, but these are now getting a lot more wear....

wendywoopywoo222 · 25/10/2019 12:13

Sainsbury's boyfriend jeans £5 in a sale. Asda t shirt £3 and cardigan £6. Sketchers trainers £35. Bra from lingerie shop £65.

My bras are always the most expensive part of any outfit being scaffold like to accommodate my boobs.

SpiderCharlotte · 25/10/2019 12:17

Asda jeans (£10)
Next T shirt (£15 ish)
Mastectomy bra (about £50, oh the glamour)

When I go out I'll wear navy padded Joules jacket (£99) and black leather Chelsea boots from River Island (£89). Bag is from Coach and was a present for my 50th.

What are you wearing and what did it cost thread.

UncleHerbie · 25/10/2019 13:04

... plus tortoiseshell Prada glasses with prescription, reactive and varifocal lenses, concealer and mascara

Temeraire · 25/10/2019 13:14

Randomly I’m head to toe in GAP at the moment, slobbing around at home in clothes from a few years ago when I worked next door to a branch and used to pick up stuff from their sale when I was passing. Straight blue jeans, black rib scoop neck top and a thick black slouchy (not waterfall) cotton cardigan. Probably cost about seventy quid all in but cost per wear is minute.

The only exception is my socks which are Boots bamboo - they’re absolutely great for the price when they’re on special offer and the only ones I wear nowadays.

Temeraire · 25/10/2019 13:15

Oh yes, plus my varifocal Lindbergh glasses which cost ten times as much as everything else put together.

Spudlet · 25/10/2019 13:23

Same jeans and jumper as yesterday, Tuffa jodhpur boots (£50 or £60), Musto jacket (no idea, I’ve had it for over ten years!). Been doing outdoorsy Mum stuff today so definitely feeling less elegant than yesterday in my lovely long swishy coat 😕

DarlingNikita · 25/10/2019 13:33

Long grey-marl chunky cardigan, Wrap, suspect it was expensive and a treat to myself but I've had it so long I don't remember the price. It was a good investment anyway; I wear it for most of the autumn and winter.
Black and white striped polo-neck top, Gap, probably in the sale or percentage-off offers that they're always doing.
Stripy leggings, about £9 I think, Uniqlo sale.
Pink leg warmers, Sweaty Betty, bargain at £9 in the sale (SB is usually
££££).

Look like a bag lady as per (I work at home, alone, is my excuse).

summedup · 25/10/2019 13:35

Pyjama top from first class flight I took a few years back - cost of ticket to get the "free" pyjamas.. a lot.
