Not done one of these for a while, but I always really enjoy hearing about people's clothes (especially the bargains and the amazingly expensive things some people get the chance to wear).
Today I am wearing a pair of boyfriend jeans (Next) that were £5 from the chazza as well as a long sleeved rust-coloured t-shirt with small paisley type print on it (M&S) that was £3 also from chazza. Over this I have a thin navy sweater (H&M) also £3. Socks were cheapo pack of three (£6)(emergency purchase on camping trip when my feet were very cold). M & S pants (6 pack for £12) and an M & S bra from the sale (£8). My shoes are very chunky brown leather lace-ups, brand I've not heard of before (Fun & co !!) that look like 'Art' brand, also chazza for around £7.
I work for myself from home and have three children who are getting under my feet in half term.
Over to you lot.

I'm on holiday so not my usual kind of outfit.

Bikini. Speedo. Ancient. At least 15 years old. Can't remember how much it cost. It's my favourite bikini ever. Speedo does nothing like it now, unfortunately. Was maybe about 25 quid.

Short skirt - khaki. O'Neill. Also ancient. Probably about 20 quid.

Coral slouchy vest top. Banana Republic. A few years old. Was maybe 15 quid.

Brand new rose gold havianas. I think they were 25 quid.

CrowleysBentley · 24/10/2019 12:37

Today I'm in grey straight leg jeans from next a few years ago, can't remember cost. Black v neck long sleeve Jersey t-shirt from h and m, probably about £8.
Berry coloured chunky knit boyfriend style cardigan from La Redoute about £50.
Black knee length socks I've had for ages, can't remember where from.
Knee length black patent doc marten lace up boots, jeans tucked in. Had for years, think they were about £150.
Elomi bra, black with flowers £45
Big comfy sloggi pants as usual

Later will be adding M&S black trench coat about £50 a few months back, back leather oc martens satchel was a gift, big chunky knit black merino scarf I made myself.

I wear a hell of lot of black (old metal head, never stopped the all black thing) , I'm trying to introduce a bit more colour but I'm not a fan of bright colours on me. I've bought a few bits of berry/burgundy, dark green and navy to add to the black, white/cream, and grey I usually wear.

Pound sign on my laptop isn't working so the following are all in GBP:

Jersey minidress from Dotty P, at least 15 years old, maybe cost 25? Cost per wear at this point is probably less than a penny Grin

Cashmere jumper from Hush. Bought last season for 160 (and that was with a discount Shock ) and dithered for several weeks over whether to keep it or not, as I'd never spent so much on a jumper before, but I have worn it and worn it and worn it. Worth every penny.

Boden leggings, secondhand off Ebay, less than a tenner

M&S socks and knickers, 5 quid?

Can't remember make of bra but probably around 30 quid (I'm a G cup so need decent scaffolding, which doesn't come cheap)

No shoes at the moment - not needed as working from home ...

Acunningruse · 24/10/2019 13:05

Burgundy jeans from Wallis, years old, maybe £30 at the time?
Long sleeve striped Top from Boden which I got with a voucher so was about £15 I think
Primark pants
M&S bra
New look socks with sloths on I got for my birthday

mrspotatohed · 24/10/2019 13:08

Asos maternity leggings £12
Black primark vest - dont even know how cheap it was
Black cotton hoodie - £12
Black Adidas trainers - I think they were about £30 in the sale. And they are the junior size so cheaper than the adult version.

TowerRingInferno · 24/10/2019 13:16

Long sleeved t-shirt Boden many years old (when they were much better quality). £25?
Camisole underneath - Kew, also years old
Levi’s approx £80 here but bought in US for half that
Socks Uniqlo £9 for 2 pairs (bought yesterday)
Underwear Freya bought in France also years old

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 24/10/2019 13:29

I am Shock at all the fancy brand names and items listed!

(but then I loathe clothes shopping, which is probably clear from my list below!)

  • Tatty t shirt from some charity event in the past - free
  • Out of shape long cardigan, but is warm and has useful pockets -
  • Sainsbury's, probably about a tenner
  • Trackie bottoms - Sainbsury's, also probably about a tenner
  • Fleecy socks - birthday present, free
  • Knickers - from a basic multipack, Sainsbury's.
  • Slippers - birthday present, free

Jeans (Next brand new) £4 charity shop.
Skinny polo neck £3 I think New Look.
Pale blue jumper £3.50 charity shop immaculate.
Dunlop Baseball boots £0 they were teen ds2's but he had a huge growth spurt and 2 sizes too small now! (I can also wear his last year's winter coat as it's too short now he has shot up about 5 inches😁)

Love a bargain.

SweetPetrichor · 24/10/2019 15:18

Working from home today so...
An old joules top which has seen better days, probably cost about £20.
PJ bottoms from asda £6
Pants from asda pack of 5 for £4-ish.
Socks from asda similar price to pants
Slippers...you guess it...from asda £12

As is clearly evident, I don't care much about fashion!

blaaake · 24/10/2019 15:32

Small Gucci belt - £240
Zara jumper - honestly can't remember the price

Drabarni · 24/10/2019 15:35

Hoody £6 Primark.
T shirt, monsoon, sale years ago, £7.
Leggings M&S £10 also years ago.

I'm doing minging jobs, so in scruff, will change if I go out Grin

Drabarni · 24/10/2019 15:39

looking at some of the cost on here, I'd need a job to afford that stuff.
It's eye watering what some people pay for clothes, I'm quite surprised tbh.
We are constantly told how broke everyone is and how the cost of living is so high.

AudTheDeepMinded · 24/10/2019 15:46

Drabarni I've been thinking the opposite. Apart from a very few posters revealing quite pricey purchases I think the majority seem to be wearing a lot of sale and charity shop bargains. Or relatively expensive items but making them last years and years. It's heartened me that I'm not the only one who dresses like this!

MrsPear · 24/10/2019 16:01

Levi’s half price £45
Joules t shirt no idea h paid I think £20
Same Cardi as yesterday
Home made knitted socks
Multi pack knickers
Emma Clark bra

MrsPear · 24/10/2019 16:02

Oh and I want an Eribe cardigan!

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 24/10/2019 16:05

A pair of fairly cheap skinny jeans I bought from warehouse a couple of years ago and a jumper from oasis, also old! I'd lost a couple of stone when I bought the jeans, and wasn't sure I'd have the confidence to wear them, but I wear them all the time. They've kept their colour and shape really well and are super comfy!

Drabarni · 24/10/2019 16:07

Aud

I do skip through threads, that'll teach me Grin You are right, just looked again.

Spudlet · 24/10/2019 16:11

M&S black skinny jeans - cost about £20-ish, I think?

FatFace petrol blue jumper - can’t remember but it was in the sale

Brown biker boots from Clark’s - they were a Christmas present

Long black wool coat from Kookai - total bargain, got it for £30 from a preloved shop

Brown leather rucksack handbag - picked it up in the BHF shop, can’t remember how much for. It was another bargain though.

Scarf that I bought with a birthday present voucher, and gloves that were knitted for me for a present. In fact, most of what I’m wearing was either secondhand or a present - got my jeans with a voucher as well!

Hairsprayqueeen · 24/10/2019 16:16

Vans that my ex gave me when she didnt want them any longer-£0
'Killah' Jeans charity shop £4

feelingverylazytoday · 24/10/2019 16:16
