Not done one of these for a while, but I always really enjoy hearing about people's clothes (especially the bargains and the amazingly expensive things some people get the chance to wear).
Today I am wearing a pair of boyfriend jeans (Next) that were £5 from the chazza as well as a long sleeved rust-coloured t-shirt with small paisley type print on it (M&S) that was £3 also from chazza. Over this I have a thin navy sweater (H&M) also £3. Socks were cheapo pack of three (£6)(emergency purchase on camping trip when my feet were very cold). M & S pants (6 pack for £12) and an M & S bra from the sale (£8). My shoes are very chunky brown leather lace-ups, brand I've not heard of before (Fun & co !!) that look like 'Art' brand, also chazza for around £7.
I work for myself from home and have three children who are getting under my feet in half term.
Over to you lot.

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 31/10/2019 08:08

One of my most favourite outfits today Smile

Autograph M & S black silk pyjamas with a ribbon tie waist (EBay £26!) they are so silky and slippery that when I get into bed, I slide down the mattressGrin
Matching velvet black dressing gown (included in above, best bargain of the year)

I feel like I should be accessorising with a long cigarette holder and fluffy kitten mule slippers, but instead am slightly ruining the effect with a pair of ancient warm black socks with pink hearts on and ancient gigantic M and S knickers (multipack £15?)

T-shirt- free from a clear out someone at work was having- long grey cardy that was technically free as a Xmas present years ago, black cords £3 from British heart foundation last week (although disappointing zip fly keeps coming down possibly why a nearly new pair of cords has been given to the charity shop!)
Pretty much the only clothes I buy new are socks and undies these days, - just bought two winter coats off eBay for under £30- the occasional smart top for work otherwise it's charity shops, eBay or things people give me ( for some reason people like off loading clothes to me when having a declutrer)

Mominatrix · 01/11/2019 10:49

Expensive fantasie bra in a very large size, M&S granny knickers, M&S t shirt and jeggings, an old work fleece so free, some socks from tkmaxx and a pair of le Chameau wellies My DH gave me for my birthday.

Muckycat · 01/11/2019 12:17

I'm actually quite dressed up today!

Nike air force ones, comfiest trainers ever! I got the kids' ones so they were £60 compared to £90 for adults'. I'm a size 6 as well so not a teeny tiny size, that's my top bargain-finding tip for the day!

Primark undies, skinnies from Sainsbo's, I find them the best fit for my massive arse and smallish waist.

Jaeger silk cami from a chazzer shop, a tenner; m&s cashmere cardie, Ebay about £40 brand new with tags; Jaeger wool wrap coat also Ebay, about £150 down from nearly £400 but I feel amazing in it and will have it for years and a YSL bag from the 80s, again, Ebay about £150.

I like natural fabrics and treated myself to a few really nice bits for autumn as I've not been well recently and it has been a lovely boost. Plus a bronze bracelet from my parents that I never take off.

I think my fondness for Jaeger comes from my mum who is a big fan from when they were apparently the 'in' brand in the 70s for work wear, coats etc. I don't think I could stretch to full price though!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/11/2019 15:07

Black pixie boots - Clarks - about £80
Black sheer tights - John Lewis - 3 for about a fiver
Blush pink pleated skirt - charity shop / label cut out - £6
Black jumper - M&S - about £25
Black leather biker - Oasis - £60 in sale
Fantasie bra £35 and M&S granny pants about £4

DarlingNikita · 01/11/2019 15:10

Working at home again.

Long grey Wrap cardi again (it has been washed since I last came on this thread!)
Long lilac stripe top from Bamboo Clothing. I do like their colourways.
Grey stripe leggings, cheap, ages ago – Gap maybe?

Will drag my scruffy carcass out a bit later. Would like to say I'll smarten up, but I'm just going to yoga so if anything will dress down further...black Gap hoodie, green MLife leggings, coral Gap vest and some lovely snuggly long Toesox in blue with a stripe. And waterproof UGG leather calf boots in brown, to stomp over there in the rain in. Oh and my black raincoat from Trespass.

Honestly, the glamour here is never-ending.

AngeloMysterioso · 01/11/2019 15:32

A pair of grey sweatpants from VS Pink that were a Christmas present from DH last year but prob cost about £35-£40... a bralet from Primark that was in a pack of 3 for £8 or £10... mahoosive black granny pants, also Primark, I think about £3 for a pack of 5... black socks from either Topshop or Miss Selfridge, probably about £5, a black top from Zara I think about £15, and a big snuggly zip hoody from Uniqlo, £35.

If it counts, maternity pad in the pants, £1.29 for pack of 10 from Boots. 41+1 week baby bump, £my sanity
