Not done one of these for a while, but I always really enjoy hearing about people's clothes (especially the bargains and the amazingly expensive things some people get the chance to wear).
Today I am wearing a pair of boyfriend jeans (Next) that were £5 from the chazza as well as a long sleeved rust-coloured t-shirt with small paisley type print on it (M&S) that was £3 also from chazza. Over this I have a thin navy sweater (H&M) also £3. Socks were cheapo pack of three (£6)(emergency purchase on camping trip when my feet were very cold). M & S pants (6 pack for £12) and an M & S bra from the sale (£8). My shoes are very chunky brown leather lace-ups, brand I've not heard of before (Fun & co !!) that look like 'Art' brand, also chazza for around £7.
I work for myself from home and have three children who are getting under my feet in half term.
Over to you lot.

Just changed after work, wearing New Look jumper and leggings, had them both a few years so no idea how much they cost now!

This morning it was all company branded shirt, fleece, and trousers...just my own trainers! Reebok Princess, £55 I think.

I love these threads. I also think it's surprising that a lot of items are "low cost" - I'm sure on these threads a few years ago, the clothes were a lot more pricey. It's interesting I think.

I am currently in bed so
Ancient high waist black knickers more armpit height than waist on me I think they were Playtex £8.
Ancient black heat holder socks ?£6
Chanel 19 perfume (a gift)
Tattoos. £££ but low cost per wear Wink
Gigantic fluffy cat - although she is wearing me more than the other way round! £0

I am very cosy.

Matt Black thick leggings with a sort of crackled effect on them, had them years, can't remember where from and the label is faded, they're lovely and warm. Home sewn wrap tunic top in a jersey fabric with a 60s/70s psychedelic paisley pattern of reds, oranges & purples against a black background, pattern free with a sewing magazine, fabric had for ages in my stash but bought in C&H fabrics originally, think it was £8.99 a metre and I bought 2m, waterfall front black cardigan from boden sale last year (£20) and later when going out will put on boden pull on suede boots with a block heel. Second pair of these, got them in their sale a couple of years ago for about £70 I think. Will wrap up warm in a mid thigh length waterproof quilted coat from next, can't remember exact price but think it was circa £50.

Frith2013 · 25/10/2019 17:00

A very scruffy day for me today.

Pants and socks from Sainsbury’s multipacks, so probably £1 a piece.

M and S bra - no way were they having 2 of my size in the sale, so maybe around £20.

Karrimor trainers - charity shop. £5

Jeans (all tatty and ripped). Sainsbury’s £12

T shirt - I can’t at the make as I’m sitting in my car but it’s a Regatta or similar. £3 charity shop

Hoodie - large, bright blue Saltrock. £5 from a charity shop and it belongs to my youngest!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 25/10/2019 17:07

Jeans - £22.99 from New Look.
T shirt, £4 from New Look
Hoodie, £12 from Tesco
Thermal socks, can't remember the price but they were cheap
Timberland boots, around the £100 mark.

I buy cheap ish clothes but I prefer to spend more on good quality shoes as I find cheap ones fall apart quickly.

Phycadelicsilhouette · 25/10/2019 17:17

Levi’s jeans I bought second hand for £1, A comfy sweatshirt type jumper with writing on the front saying “nothing to wear” (no work today so spent the day deep cleaning the house ready for half term) bought a good few years ago in a charity shop for £2, pants with little Santas on that I bought for 25p in the post Christmas sale last year and my favourite bra I bought in the sales for £6!
Not wearing shoes and socks now but was wearing today... almost a thin cableknit pair of socks from a multipack so maybe £1.50? And a pair of grey plimsole/pumps I found in an end of line sale for an actual £1!

(I usually dress smarter than this but I generally shop as cheaply as possible. I’d say that 85% of my wardrobe is second hand of the other 15% maybe 10% of that from the sales!

Moominfan · 25/10/2019 17:22

80s crazy print midi skirt, St micheals wooly cardy, dr martens and when I went out a thick wool st micheals blazer. All vintage from charity shops

Moominfan · 25/10/2019 17:49

Sorry forgot prices, skirt and jumper 50p each church table top sale. Blazer £1 carboot. Boots eBay £40

shinynewapple · 25/10/2019 18:04

I have now changed ready to go out for curry for tea. Wearing:

Black skinny jeans - approx £20 Asda
Black sketchers boots £74
Boucle fabric baggy top with chunky necklace - £18 from Lagenlook-type boutique
Will also be wearing padded jacket from Asda £25 about 5 years ago.

It's interesting to see how many pp are wearing clothing from charity shops or eBay. I am wondering if this is a cost thing, a way to get branded/quality clothing cheaper or an ethical preference for pre-loved/vintage. A mix of reasons perhaps.
