Never seen it before in my life - until today when I watched all of series one (off sick just now).

How can I not have seen this before? Absolutely fabulous stuff. Alison Steadman is so identical to my Auntie Steff I can't believe it.

No point to my post other than it's so nice to watch something that genuinely makes you laugh and I can't remember the last time that happened with a TV programme.

Nooo they can't mess with the timeline! Its too real to me.
I think Stacy would be an Instamum with a couple of kids and wicker hearts everywhere. Very Live Laugh Love (Lush).
And yes, Gwen will do most of the childcare.

I hope Dave Coaches is in the Christmas Special - I loved him!

Love the Christmas episode where they're opening presents and Ness and Smithy have given everyone an individually wrapped celebration chocolate.

So much to love in this series. I picked up more on Bryn's barely suppressed homoeroticism on repeat watches. Turning his home into a gym and a place for the lads to hang out was one of the more blatant ones.

I loved it when Gavin and Stacey were having loud sex while the others were having breakfast and Pam starts to sing along to the radio to drown it out. Unfortunately the words are 'come, come into my arms'.

The comedy is in the small things..like when they show which chocolate they’ve got a Bryan gets the Galaxy truffle (I miss those!). Gwen gets the Bounty and can’t hide her disappointment.

Also I love in the Christmas special when Smithy calls Gavin and he doesn’t even speak just starts singing down the phone. I totally do this with my sister!

I love Gavin and Stacey. I've watched it so many times! I used to have the long black and pink coat Stacey wears in series 1 (not because of watching it, just a coincidence, but I remember being surprised seeing it because it was from Matalan).

There is also a book (From Barry to Billericay) that has lots of random letters and profiles and things written as the characters which is pretty funny!

So I've seen them all now. Didn't want it to end, I can't wait for the Christmas special now!

Just so good. Watched it again last year when a friend gave me a box set on loan. My children couldn't believe how funny it was and were quoting it for weeks.
