Having just got my hands on Green Day tickets for next June....

I was wondering what’s the best gig you’ve ever been too??

So far for me, i’d have to say Foo Fighters...with Liam Gallagher a very, very close second!

Aren't they concerts. Gigs are smaller events in pubs with working musicians not big names. So many people confuse the two.

Mine was Maceo Parker, sax player.
Best concert by miles was fleetwood mac.

Spieluhr · 18/09/2019 15:05

Rammstein and lately The Hu.

desperatehousewife21 · 18/09/2019 15:08

Nice! I’m going to try and get tickets for the green day/ fall out boy concert next June in London Grin

Can’t comment on best gig tho...I’ve never been to one Shock

I’d have loved to go to a my chemical romance once back in the day tho.

Dd wants those tickets too OP.
I'll be having a look for her Christmas box.
Everyone will just laugh as I have terrible taste in music but Harry Styles for my 40th, I loved it, much better than when he was with 1D
Just bought Lewis Capaldi tickets today so hopefully he'll be good.

Gary Glitter 1989 Cliffs Pavillion. Fantastic evening and despite what we found out about him later there is no denying he was a great entertainer.

Another great memory is Depeche Mode at Crocs. Film here -

Gothamgirl1970 · 18/09/2019 15:29

Foo Fighters/Depeche Mode

IHaveBrilloHair · 18/09/2019 15:30

Oh, but not small venues so in that case Reef, Bristol Student Union, 1996.

BollocksToBrexit · 18/09/2019 15:31

I went to a Chaz and Dave concert with my gran in the 80s as she'd had a row with grandad so he wasn't allowed to go. I'm embarrassed to admit that I thought it was brilliant. Absolute star performers live.

BearSoFair · 18/09/2019 15:31

Biffy Clyro at the O2 in 2013.

We've got Green Day tickets for next year too!
