Having just got my hands on Green Day tickets for next June....

I was wondering what’s the best gig you’ve ever been too??

So far for me, i’d have to say Foo Fighters...with Liam Gallagher a very, very close second!

Neil Diamond was good at the NEC, Birmingham in 1989. Not so good at Sheffield in 1992 but the sound system was the problem. Couldn't hear his vocals above the musicians.

Ah it was brill was,nt it @Greenglassteacup?

I saw Beautiful South not long after they'd formed in a leisure centre in Belfast - they were fab. Also Aztec Camera in 1990 I think - that was something to see and hear. Also saw the Divine Comedy twice in quick succession years ago - the first time I saw them Neil Hannon was in foul form - he made Van Morrison look like a laugh, but the second time was great.

But honestly for hands down best sound/best show/best atmosphere was probably the Killers.

Muse x 5

Absolutely phenomenal shows and extremely talented musicians. I want to see them all again constantly! I'm obsessed!

Pink at Alton Towers.

Worst was Bon Jovi.

My Mum saw the Beatles in the 60's and said it wasn't very good because they could hardly be heard above the screaming!

x2boys · 19/09/2019 17:45

Yes I think.so @Greenglassteacup.

Bruce Springsteen at Hampden Park three years ago. He played for four hours. I was dead on my feet by the end but God, it was amazing. A beautiful summer night, everyone singing along to Darkness on the Edge of Town.
