So grey is on the way out, so polish your crystal balls, what colour schemes do we have to look forward to walls, flooring and furniture wise.

I love that Cocolapew.

Its a difficult one in our house as we are both in design/interiors. Him more so, so he beleives he has 'style'.

We have managed to blend our styles well where possible, but really we both just end up compromising on most things.

It looks lovely to me, but he is more contemporary/scandi, and I love a bit of kitsch and unusual things with pops of colour. I also prefer a bit more of a traditional feel.

Really that blended together just ends up looking like a bit of a mish mash.
I got my way in the bedroom and bathroom, and he has taken over the kitchen and dining room.

We do have light stony grey paint on many of the walls, but its a backdrop to many colours and patterns.

My worst nightmare is anything close to Mrs Hinch.

Far to reflective for my liking.

As I said in my earlier post, I do not colours I love, not whatever is in fashion. I can't afford to be redecorating every five minutes just to follow fashion. Ify home is ever fashionable, it's purely accidental. I choose colours that make me happy, that I can live with for a reasonable length of time. I have different shades of green in a few of my rooms as I find it quite neutral in that it goes with most other colours as long as you find the right shade - after all, who ever looked at a beautiful garden or bouquet of flowers and decided to change the stems and leaves to grey or magnolia?
