What unusual names have you heard that you've liked?

Diamond - 101 year old lady who was friend of my grandmother

Saturn - cutest little girl ever

My daughter met an Oceania at a school camp, she was a stunningly beautiful girl and the name really became her. My DD is also friends with a female Merlin, who is quite non-conforming so the name works for her.

About 20 years ago I lived next door to an elderly (80s) gentleman with named Loveday. Not my sort of name, but lovely chap.

Not a real person (yet) but I read a book called A Year of Marvellous Ways. It turned out that the protagonist's name was Marvellous Ways. I want to meet a girl called Marvellous.

Pre 9/11 I met a little girl called Isis. She was beautiful and really suited the name. I do wonder if she still uses her name.

An ex boyfriend had an aunt called Gift, which I thought was lovely and still do! (The ex, not so lovely)
Currently work with a social worker called Blessing. It suits him really well.

I have taught 2 girls called Ursula which surprised me as it's so unusual! Also a Torsten which I've not come across before. I went to school with a Caius - I like the name although he was a bit of a prat.

Worked with a very cool teenage girl called Brontë a couple of years ago. I'm a huge fan of the Brontë sisters novels and poems so loved it straight away! Seriously considering it for any future daughters
